Book with Captain Ron and Seaking Adventures. A group of us went and had the most amazing time. Captain Ron gave us a real tour. He took us to see some old light houses, talked to us about the history of the island and answered any questions that we had. He is also amazing and finding the whales. We saw a bunch with him. His prices beat everyone else and will give you an adventure you wont soon forget. We were very impressed.

Lotus Land Tours Vancouver
I paid $299 for this excursion. I also received several text messages saying that I had to pay an extra $40 because I was a single person and not a couple. I paid cash to the driver that picked me up, the pickups are complimentary. Not impressed. The tour itself was amazing, Not so much the book company, Lotus Land tours!Do better!

Good service, nice boat ride. We didn't see anything at all, but thats not their fault. They outfit you in waterproof gear, and we are glad we wore it. Beautiful ocean experience.

Discovery Sea Adventure Tours
We had the most incredible time with Discovery Sea Adventure Tours! This tour was everything we wanted and more! The Zodiac boat is amazing! We explored the stunning shoreline, saw the adorable puffins and the beautiful icebergs! Captain Bob is very knowledgeable and made this experience a lot of fun! We highly recommended booking with Discovery Sea Adventures!

Beasley's Fishing Charters
Darren is an excellent guide and very friendly to chat with. The conditions weren't great the several days before our trip so we were a little nervous. He put us on fish right away and we had both limits within 2.5 hours. And even though we booked a full day, he was honest and genuine enough to say that it was too windy to be worth our while and called it after a half day trip. Great guy and a great fishing experience. Will be coming back!!!

they have tours at 10. 1230,300 and 530, family run operationwent on the 1230, Lowell went far and above to make it happen, as you know its never guaranteed that you will see a whale, its all about time, for the first 1:40 we were a complete bust, lowell had tried a route on the 1000 am and nothing happened so he tried a different one.for us. However just as we were going to turn for home, he got a call on the radio, and we were off to deep water, where we saw a large group of pilot whales, that were very close to the boat.Lowell had just enough time to get us out there, give us a solid 15 minutes plus with the whales. He is very knowledgeable, its a family run business. real honest, no b.s, everyone has to wear the yellow raincoats and pants a life vest. Please note it is a platoon boat, so you get close, either dont eat before you go or take a pill if it affects you. Just understand there is no guarantee, but Lowell will do his best

Ocean Ecoventures Whale Watching
Having a hard time even giving 3 stars. This experience was a disappointment to say the least. We DID see orcas but they were so far in the distance that trying to take photos with anything other than a high powered zoom lens was senseless. While our boat pilot seemed knowledgeable about the area and wildlife/marine life in general, they never pulled in close enough for us to really SEE the orcas. I understand there are restrictions and regulations for how close you can get to the marine life, but other boats in the area were CLOSE (one was almost touched by an orca!). The orcas could be seen swimming closer to the shoreline but our pilot stayed pretty much in the middle of the channel the whole time; never brought us in close like the other boats were doing. BIG disappointment especially when one considers the cost of the excursion. The only real positive was that it was a gloriously beautiful day to be on the water. However, I will NOT recommend Ocean Ecoventures to anyone.

Mer et monde écotours
A wonderful group to work with if you’re staying in Tadoussac. Located 20 minutes north of tadoussac, this place has camping places with a view of the ocean and kayaking tours. We stayed at refuge Blue and loved falling asleep to the sound of the whales. The refuges do not have running water so you will need to bring in your own water. There is an outhouse behind for you to use but beware that sunset brings out all the mosquitos. Once the sunsets it’s not so bad.The downside of Refuge Blue is that it is right next to the kayaking launch site so there will be lots of people around you in the morning. Most are respectful but I would close the blinds. The showers are clean and work great. You need $0.50 to start the showers and $0.25 per minute after that. Don’t let the water stop or you need another $0.50 to start it again. We did a kayaking tour a few years ago and it was amazing. Getting up close and personal with the whales was incredible.

It was our first time whale watching and we had a fun time with Captain Ron, the weather was great and we saw harbour seals and lots of Orcas. We were only 12 persons on the boat so it didn't feel over crowded. Great experience overall.
