UB DIVING

I had a fantastic time with UB Diving on their Port Hardy charter this past weekend. Shellie was great to chat with to plan and organize the trip by answering any questions we had, making sure we had the gear we couldn’t bring with us on the flight or even, maybe, perchance forgot, and letting me know what to expect up in Port Hardy, including recommendations regarding accommodations. I was ready for the weekend before leaving their store in Courtenay. Sean is amazing on the boat! He is very open, straight forward, and eager to deliver the best diving for you from any gear issues you may have in that moment on the boat to watching the schedule for currents and making suggestions for dive locations and sites. They also have a photographer that works with them and he was on the charter available to give tips for taking photos in green water. With international travel being an uncertainty due to Covid-19, visiting the Island with UB Diving is on my plans for the next year or two!

Sean and Shelly are great owners, I have used their services multiple times and everytime I've been more than happy with their services. The shop is well stocked and Sean is great at suit repairs. I highly recommend UB and will continue to use them.

I had a great time diving with Skipper Sean out on Good Vibrations with UB Diving. His boat with a winch lift was comfortable and made everything easy. Good times with good people and great tunes! Best dive shop I've ever been to! The staff was super friendly and helpful. They inspected my leaky regulator at no charge! Sean was especially thorough and made sure I was satisfied with his diagnosis. Definitely recommend!

I had an absolutely amazing series of dives with Sean on our Port Hardy trip this weekend. Both Sean and Shellie were very accommodating. Sean is an excellent captain, had lots of funny stories, and was on the ball when it came to all the local dive sites. Our drops were spot on, and his local knowledge of the sites a huge asset, it helped make the dives even better. The dive elevator on the boat was certainly a luxury too! This will definitely be a yearly trip for me. On top of all the awesome dives we also got to see a small pod of Orcas that came upon us while we geared up in a secluded bay out of the wind. Truly an amazing experience! If you're thinking about a Port Hardy dive trip, don't even hesitate just call Sean and Shellie and book.
