Museum of Industry
Fantastic museum in my hometown. Exhibits featuring the many varied industries of Nova Scotia and focus on Pictou County. Well laid out, informative, and interesting topics.

L'Anse De Tabatière (Sepaq)
The sun set views were simply amaizing, arrive early to grab a picnic table as it was busy when we visited there for a long weekend. The views were heavenly and it was good to know the history.

Historic Stewart Farm
A beautiful heritage home in a peaceful pastoral setting. The home tour gives us a glimpse into the lives of our predecessors. One can tour the barn, see the garden and take a lovely walk along the river.

Cobb's Adventure Park
Ticket price definitely too high for this place. For 25$ per person (100$ for family of 4) you won't find great variety of animals or decent washroom. There are better places and farm nearby, not sure we will come back. It could be ok for 10$. Also be aware they add donation payment automatically during the checkout via website. With this ticket price it's ridiculous.

Topham Park
Very nice park. Three baseball diamonds, a wading pool, tennis courts, and a playground, with lots of people walking well-behaved dogs

Lavande azulée (Lavender Farm)
For those traveling to Baie St. Paul from the west, this should be your first stop. Louise is an incredibly warm and gracious person. She is passionate about her craft and happily shares her considerable knowledge with anyone who asks. Her products are well priced and of high quality. She is fully billingual and has excellent recommendations for what to do and places to see in the Charlevoix area.

Marchand Provincial Park
Made a stop at Marchand Provincial Park on the way home from the Steinbach area in August 2022.The park is just off Highway 210. There are a variety of camping spots and picnic areas with tables and fire pits along the narrow road in the park. There was also a covered picnic shelter and outhouses. It’s a very small park. Aside from the highway noise, it was pretty peaceful and surrounded by forest.I enjoyed having a picnic lunch here and sitting in the sun. Would come back for a pit stop again!

Rideau Falls Park
Beautiful spot. It's around 30 mins walk from parliament hill, but on a beautiful day it's worth the walk. Try to go just around sunset to enjoy both views . Post sunset it's even peaceful and the city lights add to the beauty

Victoria Park
Really nice park! Lots of places to sit, playground for kids, and at the summer time there’s out door market every Wednesday and Saturday with food vendors and lots of cute local things to buy. Sometimes they have market under the stars with live music and during the summer there are free activities for families and everyone like Yoga in the park! Really great! The only thing that need to take under consideration is that it’s Meter parking.
