This comment is more about how I'll prepared TD is for the economy opening up post Covid than this location. Saturday.... Lots of business. Where are the employees? TD is losing money by not meeting their clients needs.

Ishan one of the managers told me to call customer service as they are not able to help and showing attitudes on top. After that tried branch 391 on 22 Stevenson Rd Oshawa and they solved my problem in minutes. Even this location is the most convenient for me but I don’t think I can come here anymore. Had a few bad experiences in the past as well.

I am in the process of moving the 1st of 2 mortgages from the TD Father Tobin Branch. TD's slow processing of a new home purchase cost me $3000 in April 2021 because I had to delay closing. I have had enough. When it's in their interest they will surely get a hold of you. I have the branch financial advisor calling me from time to time asking me if I am doing anything with the money in my account that is sitting there. Well sir, it is not your job to be looking into my account when I have not asked you to. I will be looking at lodging a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner as no branch employee has the right to access my profile without my knowledge or consent. I pay the fees on the account so it's my business, not yours.If the branch manager would like to call to discuss my mortgage situation, please free to. My name is Amer Sheikh phone number 416-5**-6**6. Otherwise, the mortgage is moving by September 15 with the RSP and TFSA accounts following shortly after.August 29 Update:Scotiabank approve my mortgage switch within 2 weeks of the application submission. I will be moving my principal residence mortgage from TD as of September 3. I have 4 mortgages and after September 3 only one will be remaining with TD. I wish TD management would realize that there is a competitive market out there for clients like me who have a substantial net worth and it costs you more money to gain a new client than it does to keep an existing one. The last mortgage will be moved as soon as it is in my advantage to do so. Next, I will be moving my RSP and TFSA portfolio as well as the cash.PS: The financial advisor said he would have the assistant branch manager contact me to discuss my issue that day. To this day, I have heard nothing. Unfortunately, customer service is not something this branch values despite all the corporate garbage they put out there telling how much you mean to them. Actions speak!

I honestly hate going into this bank as each and every time seems like a horrible experience dealing with the ladies here. More recently I had a very rude bank teller with long dark hair and glasses. This woman should not be in the industry of serving customers. Before I had a run-in with her I could see how she was treating and speaking with the customers ahead of me and it was bad. She has no business working at this bank or any other bank. Another experience like this and I will be moving my banking over to TD or Scotia.

ATMs now only open during banking hours. Why even bother having them? Staff has to call managers to answer fairly straightforward questions. The main reason they want you to make appointments is to try to sell you more credit cards or mutual funds. Good luck trying to contact the person you had an appointment with for any follow up questions or for them to finish the business you went there for in the first place. I've been a TD customer for decades in general and this branch for many years and it's unbelievable how it's all declined.

We have banked with TD for a lot of years but I have to say the Teller customer service of the downtown branch is just appalling.I was there at lunchtime today and like most people we are in our lunch break so time is of the essence, I waited in a line up of only two people ahead of me but a steady stream behind me, there were only 2 Tellers working and the remaining staff including their manager were off to the side chatting and laughing, our line did not make a single move for 15 minutes, another gentleman behind me left the line up to take a seat and then when a teller became free he just skipped the line up, the teller was willing to serve him until we protested.Then suddenly the Manager opens a Teller spot herself and then another staff member also opens a Teller, when I approached the Manager to give my well intended advice she dismissed me with a We do what what we can" and that was it

they just got this new thing where if you try to buy something online they need a one time pass code they say its a one time but every time I buy something online they ask for this code as I don't have text messaging it is really hard for me to buy anything online then I call in to talk to someone these people are never open or you go in and they are very dirty people and talk to you like you are nothing and don't help at all and tell you there is nothing we can do about this its are bank that does it we cant change that yet I have been here for years and this is the 1st time i ever got this but keeps happening for every buy I do online i am done with this bad bank I'm going to RBC they treat you better there and bank fees are cheaper
