Blinds To Go

It was good experience at first and sales rep directed too blinds I at first didn't like then changed my mind and turned out to be exactly what I needed. I made a deposit in store, gentleman came and took measurements (Luke called ahead, showed up early, super quick and easy. Was in and out within 5 minutes for both measurements and install). Yet I had a bad experience when it came to booking installation. Sales rep called to book install the day after measurements and said i could get installation done within the next week and had me pay in full upfront (which I don't typically do). It was a Friday of a long weekend and after having me pay in full said I'd have to wait until Tuesday to book and can do so online. Tuesday rolled around And I didn't have any access to book online so I called on Wednesday to see what's going on and they said there was a glitch in the system it will take 2 WEEKS to book install. I was livid as I expected it to be done by end of week (having no blinds in my bedroom was a pain as it was). After stating my opinion and very upset they said they could rush it to the following week. Which they did. So I had to wait an extra week then expected for install which was upsetting yet I am very happy with them.

So happy with the Davenport location. The manager, Mariam, is very professional and knowledgeable. Shawn is the best installer. Highly recommend this place. Have had blinds installed 5 times by them (motorized and non motorized) Happy every time!

UPDATEPLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS LOCATION.4 months later from my original order and my issue still has not been resolved.They finally agreed to replace my blinds with a new blind that just so happened to be new and available in one size instead of 3 separate blinds.The installer came to install it, and discovered they did not order the valance. Even he could not believe it.I am now in week 3 after I was told it would take 3-5 days and still no valance.Once again the store manager MARY ANN ignores my phone calls and my emails.They are so unprofessional, they are dishonest with their information and they have horrible customer service.I ordered custom blinds on December 13, 2022 and I am still trying to resolve this issue. There are gaps between the blinds which they measured and installed. They tried to get me to purchase curtains to put on top of the blinds and wanted to charge me an additional $500.00. I have spent so much time calling and visiting this store. The Manager Mary Ann doesn't even have the courtesy to return my calls.I am so frustrated and don't know what to do at this point.Horrible customer service. Never return calls, conflicting information on why order isn't complete.Installation wasn't completed due to problem with blinds when made. Still waiting for completion. Have Called and called and called.Blinds were custom made and look like I bought them at Canadian Tire. Don't fit properly, gaps showing. Still dealing with issues.Will never, ever purchase from them again.

I have used Blinds To Go previously (another location) and have had a great experience from ordering to installation. This time around, I am disappointed, as we received a 'free' in-home consultation, where we were told that we would be able to get roller shades for our patio door (which is located right next to a tall cabinet door which opens towards the patio door). At no point were we told that we would have any issues -- we preferred to mount within the door frame, and we were told that it would possibly need to be mounted over the wood trim framing the door, and we were ok with that. There was no mention of having to off-centre any of the mounting brackets. We had made our deposit and had measurements done (measurements + installation = extra $), only for the measuring tech to tell us that we would not be able to mount it in a way that covers the entire door and trim, the trim on the left side would show/be exposed, causing an uneven, off-centred look. I would have appreciated this information at the FREE CONSULTATION stage, not at the point where I have already made my deposit. I was charged a measurement fee of $50 + tax, and refunded the remainder of my deposit, but I think it is unfair to offer free consultations and having to make a purchase decision based on incorrect information provided by the free consultant. So I have paid a measurement fee for blinds I am not purchasing, because only the paid installer can tell you what is possible in your space, not the free consultant.

I had all the window treatments in my condo done through this store. Excellent service in store - Nahid made some excellent recommendations, and was really lovely to work with. I’m in love with all my window treatments, especially the Melody Sheer Vertical blinds in my living room. My thanks to the BTG team, including the individuals who measured and installed - everyone was really wonderful to work with. I would return to this store in a heartbeat. Nice blinds, fair prices, installation was excellent but the communication between the stores and myself was terrible.First store I visited (Scarborough) took forever to get back to me and quoted me a cheaper price for installation, plus they said I could finalize the order online or on the phone, which I found out I couldn’t after they finally got back to me.I went to a different store closer to me and ordered from them.This took way too long to get done because of the sloppy communication I.e email and text messages.I won’t be shopping from them again and I can’t recommend them to anyone.

Our drapes from Blinds to Go were with sun block attachment as advised/recommend by Mary Ann the Manager.They were very well manufactured and perfectly installed by Mohammed [Moe] who’s a perfectionist!We have requested Mary Ann to have him return to our condo to straighten/organize our 11 blinds that were installed by another installer.We will pay for this service.I think these were the first electrical blinds that they had installed.We look forward to finally have our new home window treatment completed after one and a half years.

Needed a replacement part for my blinds that were 12 years old and went to Davenport store as it was the closest to my location from 65 Bremner. I was greeted at the front and when I explained what I needed and showed the manager the part I needed she found the part along with the chain and let me have it. When I asked what I owe, it was nothing. I get they are warrantied for life but this was amazing. Took it home and installed and voila, works like magic again. Best experience with a window covering store. Thanks for making my day

I have ordered both custom drapes and blinds from this location in the past 6 months.Both times I received exceptional service and the products were exactly as designed and perform well.Definitely use them again!
