Stonefields Estate

We got married at Stonefields at the end of April and I still can't adequately express how grateful we are for the Stonefields team, and how happy we are with how our day turned out. Our guests have been raving about the venue and how fantastic the food was.From the very beginning of the wedding planning process, Stonefields made the process so seamless. From the taste testing, to working so well with our wedding planner, to the execution of our day, it was all so perfect. Steve, Stephanie and the team demonstrated so much care & dedication towards our wedding. They took such great care of us and our guests on the day of the wedding. The team at Stonefields really made our day that much more special and we are so, so glad we chose Stonefields as our venue.

Stonefields is AMAZING!!!!!! As a wedding planner they are fabulous to work with - organized, professional, on time, and ready to do anything to make the couples dream day come to life. They are collaborative and will move mountains to help ensure the day goes flawlessly. A full team of helpful and kind people - just what you want for your wedding!: ) Stonefields is truly one of the best venues I have worked with and I cannot wait to be back.

Our wedding at the Stonefields in October was an absolute dream. My husband’s sister got married there in July 2019 and my husband and I instantly fell in love with the venue. The grounds are absolutely stunning and made for perfect photo locations. Our ceremony location (in front of The Farmhouse) was exactly what I had envisioned as I dreamed of my wedding day. The verandah is a beautiful location for guests to mingle during the cocktail hour, and the reception hall is so gorgeous on its own that we were able to keep décor and florals to a minimum (a huge bonus when you’re on a budget!).Kylie was our main contact in the lead up the wedding – and she is basically a superwoman. Throughout the entire planning process (2 years – thanks, COVID!), she gave me so much confidence and put my anxious brain at ease. She was always quick to respond, answered every question I had with kindness and patience, and somehow accommodated all of our requests. I also dealt with Angela on a few occasions, and she was equally lovely and knowledgeable.The day itself went perfectly. I’m very Type A and usually like to be in control of every last detail. I didn’t for a second worry or think about any of the logistical details on the day because everything was so well managed. Erin was our day-of coordinator, and she was fantastic. It often seemed like she was in multiple places at once! Having her in charge calmed my nerves and allowed me to stay present in the moment and enjoy the day fully. Steve was on-site all day as well, and he was so committed to making sure we had everything we needed and were having a great time. The entire staff went above and beyond for us and made our day so special (special shout out to our personal waiter who was always checking in with a smile on his face!). The food was also incredible – our guests were absolutely raving about it.We cannot say enough good things about the Stonefields. We wouldn’t have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else.Laura & Sean

We were married at Stonefields just over a week ago but I felt the need to write this review while all the details were still fresh in my mind. I cannot put into words how incredible our wedding at Stonefields was, and although we fell in love with this venue for the beautiful property, the actual experience was made so amazing because of the team.We were initially supposed to hold our wedding at Stonefields in October of 2020, however we postponed for reasons I'm sure I do not need to explain! The idea of postponing an entire wedding and rescheduling for a year later sounds stressful, however, Steve, Stephanie and Kylie made the process so seamless and simple for us that it removed any of the stress we thought would be there. The pandemic was difficult for brides and grooms trying to plan, but wedding venues took an incredible hit during those difficult seasons however the Stonefields team never strayed from their steady reassuring message and for that I will forever be grateful.Our wedding day itself was a dream come true. Erin, our day-of coordinator, did so much to ensure the day went smoothly. Our guests are still sending us messages about how beautiful the venue was, how incredible the food tasted, but most importantly how attentive Steve and his team were to all of our guests that day. Drinks and food always at the ready and blankets being generously handed out at the cocktail hour to make sure everyone was comfortable.I could go on and on about how great our experience was but I'll end by saying that the single best choice I made in terms of my wedding (after choosing my husband, of course) was trusting the Stonefields staff with turning this experience into our dream come true. I hope more people we know choose to get married here just so that I can have the chance to visit again!

I do not even know where to begin with my praises for Stonefields. We always felt so welcomed and cared for. Steve met us at our first visit to the site and gave us a full tour (including the kitchens to show us how well organized the night would be).Kylie responded to ever email I sent her (there were many) very promptly, and with kindness. She helped out with so many small details and questions that really made me feel better going in to the last couple of months. Throughout the entire planning process, they were organized and very detail oriented (which I loved).Our food tasting was incredible and really highlighted how AMAZING the food really is. The quality was equally as stellar the night of our wedding. The mac and cheese and pogo midnight snack was possibly a highlight of the night.Jen was our wedding coordinator and was very helpful ironing out the final details at our rehearsal the week of our wedding.Our wedding day could not have been more perfect. We were able to get ready ahead of time at home, and spend our three hours in the house having some mimosa's, beers, and taking plenty of photos (first look etc). Between my planner and Jen, everything was coordinated down to the tee.Everything ran smoothly, and on time. However, I never felt rushed, or like I wasn't able to take it all in.There are so many small details that set Stonefields apart from everyone else. From the trial signature cocktail before the ceremony, to helping us set up and tear down, to having Steve (the owner) with me walking towards the ceremony house, to Deanie (our evening host) who came to find us every time a course was being served to make sure we ate. Not to mention the heated up bowl of mac and cheese (the left overs from our midnight snack) at 2am as a bedtime snack for us and our overnight guests.We had the time of our lives and will never forget how much more special the day was because of the hard work this team puts in. I would 10000/10 recommend getting married at Stonefields if you want a fancy barn wedding that feels like home.Thank you Stonefields for the best day of our lives.All photos attached by Amy Pinder.

Absolutely stunning place to have a wedding! A good friend of mine got married here at Stonefields Estate and it was nothing short of beautiful. Very clean grass, fitting outdoor furniture, beautiful white chapel, and an overall quaint venue for the reception! Was very pleased with the food selection and the lovely staff with smiles on their faces bringing out delicious hors d’oeuvres platter by platter. The outdoor bar was a really nice touch and the flow of different areas allowed for lots of playing around for the kids too. Thank you Stonefields Estate for a wonderful venue for my best friends.

As an Ottawa wedding photographer, I've photographed many weddings at Stonefields. From the days when it was just a house and a couple barns to the sprawling estate that it is now. The owners are some of the most dedicated in the business and happy couples makes for great photos.

Stonefields and their staff are professionals within the wedding industry. They eat, sleep and breathe weddings. The day could not have gone any smoother and their staff where on the ball with all the planning before we even got to it. Their templates and suggestions to guide us to our day where impeccable. The venue is absolutely stunning with perfect rain / back up ceremony options! Just as beautiful. The guests mentioned the food was the best wedding food they ever had. The staff really took care of us (food, drinks and transportation) while we where taking pictures and for the entire day. We slept at the venue which was very convenient at the end of the night! I wish we could re-live this day again and again at Stonefields! Highly recommend this venue if you're looking for the best in the industry!
