RBC Royal Bank

My experience at this bank has been excellent. We sold our house recently and bought another with less than a 2 week turn around time and Susan H. was amazing! She really goes the extra mile for her customers. No issues or concerns whatsoever with any service I have received at this bank.

Another line up to the door and not enough staff to manage it.18 minute Waite again. It seems to take so long to process on person

Bad customer service. They switched off my credit card without providing a new one. When asked, they said they didn’t know about it. Too busy and it’s hard to get an appointment. Much better banks elsewhere without all the fuss.

It has 3 ATM'S inside, one drive thru ATM and a bunch of customer service inside. It is clean and for the most part the lines go quickly. Obviously there will be waits, depending on who is in front of you and all that jazz. Good customers service and, for the most part, knowledgeable staff to suit your needs. Keep in mind it is a bank and they are out to make some sort of profit so don't be shocked with fees.... just make sure you are educated about your needs and everything will be groovy.

As a disabled person, the fact that every time I come to this location, after a real struggle to get in, the lineup is all the way to the door and sometimes out the door and there are only a couple tellers open, is beyond infuriating. The effort just to get to the door for me is so difficult. Recently I once again had to turn around and leave at the door. 20 people in line at 2pm! No benches or a chair in sight and the lineup was out the door on a very hot humid day. Open up more teller spots and get the line moving! Stop chatting about your personal lives…we can hear you. I briefly spoke to two women who were waiting at the door (one very pregnant), and they had already been there 15 minutes, they hadn’t even moved ahead in line yet!Seriously thinking of moving all of my investments, 3 accounts and safety deposit box etc. etc. to another bank. This is ridiculous.ALSO——when I do actually, rarely, make it to a teller with a cash deposit—why in the world are you asking me where I got the cash? Excuse me? None of your business!

I opened a new advantage chequing account and i had a rbc representative do this for me which took like almost 2 hours and when i signed into my online banking i noticed that instead of having a chequing and savings account i have 2 savings account. Incompetent financial advisors that can’t even open a new account properly.

The Financial planner i dealt with didnt do her job to the standard I think she should have, resulting in me losing money.Going to try to deal with it at the branch soon as I get a chance.Update: the branch Manager has managed to fix the problem and I can no longer say I am displeased. Except with the FP.

Terrible people. Modern day slave owners one could say. Been a 21 year customer and went to cash a 10k cheque an was offered $100 of my own money. The age of crypto can't come soon enough.
