Thought I had a good rapport with Candice @ Pony Pals. Had my daughter go through more than half a year worth of weekly riding lessons. As I took a break during the winter months, upon summer we decided to go back as my daughter loves horseback riding.Over a month of emails and phone calls to simply schedule lessons, their very poor customer service and lack of professionalism caused me to waste of a month of possible riding lessons somewhere else. I have emails proving that 'they were going to schedule me and there wouldn't be any problems with the times I was looking for', ultimately that changed when I complained that it was taking too long to book sessions.I have run multiple businesses throughout the years, successfully at that, I explained that it doesn't take 2 weeks to reply to an email or phone call, that is just poor customer service. It is very obvious they couldn't handle this critique.I was willing to go through the process to return to a place I thought I had a good rapport with. But I guess my business wasn't worth it.Please note that I would buy blocks of sessions, pay all up front, and never complained when their 30 minutes of horseback time was cut short on a regular basis to 22, 24, 25 mins. Without reason at that, just cause they don't keep good time.I gave Candice multiple opportunities to rectify the situation, to date she hasn't.So be it.Better schools out there that are not driven solely by financial reasons.

Pony Pals are by far the best in every aspect of therapeutic riding.I have tried a variety of therapeutic riding stables, and let’s face it, it`s a business; the all mighty dollar is first, the clients come second. Not so with Pony Pals; it feels like home; as a matter of fact I would love to live there. To the owners Candice and Tina it is a vocation and it shows in how well it is run and how they treat their horses, volunteers and clients. It is an easy location for handidart to deliver to and even they love going there; it is hard to imagine such a beautiful area minutes from Vancouver and the ocean at its doorstep. The stable is bright and clean; all wheelchair accessible. The horses are happy and the volunteers are fantasticThinking back to when I first started at Pony Pals, getting me on the horse was a challenge. Pony Pals now has a lift to swing you from wheelchair to saddle. What a difference this apparatus makes to me, the side walkers and no doubt the horse as you are gently lowered into placeOne exercise they do is short turns; the horse turns quickly and there is a possibility of falling off as I found to my detriment. However my back and stomach muscles are now strong enough that I was able to right myself. Yeah! Of course it helps to have fantastic volunteers to save you.. Many thanks to the hours they put in to help people like meWhat I like about the riding program, they are always advancing; when you start it is riding large circles; as the months progress, ones weaves in and out between cones again keeping your balance.I have notice an overall improvement and find if I miss a week my body knows it; I have multiple sclerosis for 26 years and have been in a chair for over ten. I still live an independent life I will continue going there until they find a cure and then I`ll be back there as a volunteer. It a great place for young and old alike.

Family owned and operated, non profit organization. Relaxing safe environment allows people of all ages to horse ride, with little or no experience needed. Their THERAPEUTIC RIDE program is amazing! There is a nearby walking trail along the Boundary Dyke, for those parents who would prefer to wait for thier riders. Save gas and walk the dog too ! Bring doggy bags and water. Restrooms only available at the barn.

First time ride for our daughter today. We went for an hour first ride. Lady that helped us was amazing. Very nice stable. Cool Pony (unicorn?). Very, very patient with our 7 year old. Of course we will now have to come again...

Would really recommend pony pals for both kid and adult riding lessons. The staff are kind, caring, and patient. They are very understanding and considerate of each individual's needs.

Love this place! I’ve known Candice since I was 7 years old and I’m so happy to see how far the program has come. They work with people of all ages and the power of horses and animals is so healing.
