Kathy Nutter

We met Kathy in December 2021 in MAGMA - a local organization here in Moncton that helps newcomers. She was the invited guest for one of the English classes that my wife took. She offered us almost 50k more than the rest of the brokers at that time with a lower interest rate, so naturally we decided to stick with her offer and started looking at more expensive properties than we've been looking at that time.Once we found the house that we really loved, we gave Kathy heads up and she assured that both lender and insurer are on board with it. So we shook hands with the sellers and started arranging inspection, lawyer, insurance, deposit. Days later all the conditions were removed except the financing. The broker rarely would pick up the phone and only vaguely answered to some emails, usually telling some unrelated story (really you should've seen those) or telling that she's still waiting for the response from the insurer. Time went by, still nothing. At 4pm on the very last day, she informed us that we'd need to double the downpayment otherwise the insurers won't let us have the money. She knew very well that we could not put more down, so she even suggested that we should ask someone to lend us the money. I don't know if it's a strategy to get a bigger downpayment, hoping that we'd be desperate with no other options, or if they deliberately target newcomers who, like us, just don't know any better. But this is how we lost that deal.My wife took it harder, she lost her sleep, had constant headaches for over a month. She felt bad to the point where we had to go to our family doctor, who prescribed a medication just to get her some sleep.We talked with Kathy's boss, he said he's sorry for what happened but there's nothing he can do and he was blaming the insurer. But they won't let us speak with the insurers either. So it feels like they can do whatever they want and no one really can be held responsible

Kathy answered all our questions and was able to provide us with the information we needed. Gave us all the time we needed and was warm and welcoming. Speaks facts and elaborates if you are unsure of something. Would recommend to absolutely everyone. Thank you Kathy for making our experience one to remember

Kathy is by far the best at what she does. I was fully Informed and felt very comfortable from the first conversation on.This is my first time going through the process. And I was never nervous because of Kathy and my realtor were an amazing team.Highly recommend her.

If we had of known what we know now I would never recommend to any one. Very slow and never answered any questions didn't answer phone calls unclear information lack of follow up said people buying were more important than people remortgaging. In my opinion adk for elsewhere
