We have an older home with a flu system mounted at roof level which can be a challenge to clean. Nitin at Chimney Chief was familiar with the system, knew how to clean it properly and showed up exactly when scheduled. The team was quick, courteous and had Covid friendly protocols during the servicing and cleaning. Great job and would highly recommend.

I called around in the fall for quotes to inspect and clean a double-chimney, and Chimney Chief was by far the most reasonable of any well-reviewed, chimney-specific business I could find in metro Vancouver.We just moved into the house and know nothing about chimneys, so we didn't know what to expect, but they were great -- the owner (apologies, it's been a couple months and I've forgotten his name) took the time to walk me through everything while his team of two got to work, pointing out pros and cons to my style of chimney, showing me how the damper worked, and didn't take advantage of my ignorance to up-sell me on an unnecessary recapping that our home inspector had suggested before we bought.I'll be using them again in a year or two, whenever I've had 40+ fires (thanks for that little tip, too!). Easy recommend.

Look no further. This is the person you want to hire to clean your chimney.I had ours cleaned a few years ago by another company and was told it needed all kinds of changes, repairs, repointing. None of it made sense and I didn't do any of the suggested work. That experience made me nervous to hire someone again.But I called Nitin and couldn't be happier with his service!As it turns out, there was nothing wrong with my fireplace. Nitin in fact said it was in great condition.Nice to have peace of mind for this kind of thing.

I would highly recommend Vancouver Chimney Chief for any of your fireplace needs. He was very kind, punctual (even arrived slightly early) and knowledgable. We had a problem with smoke building up when the tenants above us were having a fire. He took the time to explain the problem to me (a new homeowner and landlord who knows nothing about fireplaces). He offered me solutions that were both budget friendly and those that were long term and energy efficient. I really appreciated that he said I could call anytime if I had any questions or concerns about the fireplaces. I think the service was well worth the cost. Definitely will be calling them again next year.

Nitin swept two of my Chimneys in North Vancouver.He was very responsive over email when booking the appointment. In person he was very detailed in his explanation of work and what to expect when using a double flue chimney. He answered all of my questions with great detail. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Nitin and his helper Brennan were professional, courteous and simply amazing when they cleaned my chimney on Oct 25.The chimney had not been cleaned for a few years and was really very dirty.
