WinMac Inc (MacBook Repair Centre)

Unnerved to discover that my MacBook Air had called it quits yesterday. A Google search generated the names of repair shops. I telephoned several, but my convo. with one vendor stood out: WinMac. Time was of the essence, I couldn't afford to be Mac-less for 2-5 business days, nor did I have another spare machine at home. Ari and the team at WinMac were knowledgeable (i.e. a defunct SSD as predicted), empathetic, provided a quick turnaround (i.e. diagnosed and fixed within 45 minutes), and very affordable.....I highly recommended them.

Upon receiving my MacBook back from Winmac there were still some unresolved issues that I wasn’t initially happy about. However, Arash worked with me to resolve the issue all the while remaining very calm and professsjonal. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their MacBooks repaired.

If you need to fix your mac, look no further - this is the place! They are fast, more affordable than the official mac store. They went above and beyond. I can't recommend them more! Hopefully my mac stays okay, but if it doesn't, I know where I'll be going to fix it.

I cannot rave about this place enough. They are miracle workers. Kind. Amazing customer service, honest and a small business.My toddler spilled bubble liquid (soapy water, gel-like) liquid on to my touch pad - my brand new 2020 MacBook Pro and they fixed it! All my files intact and my browser had all the tabs on it before it kept flickering on and off.They called me weekly with updates on status and what they were working on. They were so kind and polite. I would bring them anything in the future to repair/upgrade and would highly recommend them to friends and family.Located downstairs of the Aura Building near College Park. Thank you!!!

From the moment we walked in we could tell they were passionate about the care of your computer. They worked with me and I had to have some extensive work done on my computer. (Clumsy friends spilled drink). The turnaround time was great even after they did additional tests to make sure I was in tip top for the near future as well. All the work they do there also comes with a 6mo warranty. Hopefully I don't have any more accidents but if so I would go back there, would also give reference to friend if needed.

I had an amazing experience with WinMac and would recommend them to everyone. I called a few different places when my macbook pro experienced water damage and found their prices to be the most affordable and reasonable, especially with their student discount. They were very kind and easygoing in explaining the diagnosis of my laptop, what my options were, and I never felt dumb asking questions. They were very responsive, honest and gave me updates along the way. I feel really happy to support a family-run business that's of such high quality! And I definitely felt more comfortable with a place that specifically specializes in macbooks. I'm aware there are other repair centres that do a variety of devices to try stretch their profit, even if they are less skilled in repairing those devices.Thank you so much to the friendly team at WinMac. I had a very positive experience with WinMac, and if I could give even more than 5/5 stars I would! They provided exceptional service and went above & beyond with servicing my MacBook. WinMac initially provided a free diagnostic, followed by clear communication to explain all processes, costs, and estimated time needed for repair. They also provided updates throughout the process, as needed. I spoke with Fred and Ary, who are both very personable and courteous, and the customer service staff was also friendly and prompt in responding to inquiries and follow-up. Overall, a professional, effective, and efficient service - Thank you again WinMac! Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this company for MacBook repair :)

Getting a Macbook Pro repaired after a coffee spill was never going to be a cheap fix, but it sure takes the edge off when you're dealing with such kind, kind people. They are exceptional in every way: knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely nice. They went extra miles to make my unfortunate experience as minimally disruptive as possible. I'm super happy I picked them.

these guys are absolute rockstars! my Mac screen went blank on me while i was working last night, i took it to this store and they changed the screen within hours, my laptop is back functioning like nothing ever happened. they were quick, professional and affordable.

Great place to fix your Macbook. I have fixed my laptop with them twice already, and they are doing a great job. Also the price is affordable and they fully disclose what exactly is wrong with your laptop and what needs to be done while also providing you with options.Ari (I believe that's how you spell his name) was great, very helpful and returned my calls almost immediately.Overall, great value and price for service that you get. From personal experience they offered way better service than Apple store when it comes to fixing Macbooks. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is experiencing issues with their Macs.Awesome job guys!
