My husband and I both got new glasses recently and the customer service was outstanding! I highly recommend going to Capilano eye center for all your eye needs. We will definitely return and recommend them to everyone we know. today we had an appointment with Diane to get my daughters (5yr old) glasses ordered she was amazing! brought coloring books out and everything. fantastic service especially during a pandemic, we felt so safe and welcomed! Thank you for making the experience so great my daughter can't wait to get her new pair!We would recommend this place over and over again.

After having a less then steller experience with another optometrist to say the least. Capilano Eye center staff were able to help me get the specific quality of lens I was looking for and ended up saving me well over 300 compared to the other place. I had an excellent experience at Capilano Eye Centre, the staff is truly outstanding. They made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. They were extremely knowledgeable and patient when answering my questions, always available to give me guidance and advice. They helped me find a perfect pair of glasses that fit my face shape and style. Overall, I felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great experience. I ordered three pairs of glasses there and it took two months to get them. The first time I went to pick up the glasses I was told I had already picked up one pair of glasses. I tried to explain to the person working I hadn’t and she told me she didn’t know what to say but I had picked them up. That went back and forth three or four times until she finally said she’d get back to me later which she never did I had to call a week later to fined out what was going on. It turned out I wasn’t a thief and I didn’t pick them up they had not received them yet. On the same day that I was being called a thief the person let me try on the other pair of glasses that had come in. I proceeded to tell her that the left eye I couldn’t see out of it. It looked like I was looking through fog. The person informed me that it was the prescription I gave them and it was my fault if I couldn’t see out of them that went back and forth about three times . The person finally took them to the back room only to find out it wasn’t my prescription that I had given them but it was them that put the x axis and y axis 90 degrees off. No one has every called me or said sorry for calling me a liar or a thief or for the mistakes they have made. There was more but this is long enough.

Don't bother with this place.YOU ORDER THEM AND I GET CHARGED 1000 PLUS FOR LENSES WHEN MY EYES CHANGE IN A FEW MONTHS. DONT BOTHER. I GET HURT MORE THIS WAY. JUST DONT. I DON'T need this.I will go elsewhere. And I know I have to find now 1000 PLUS for glasses. when the new prescription ends up coming to me with eye changes.I am not going back. I will go elsewhere."

Always have taken my daughter there since she was 6 and now she is 9 and the doctors are great and very funny and make my child fill comfortable

Had an eye exam, asked about trying contacts yep they lined me up for a contacts trial ordered, paid and fitted me for contacts which when I put on i expressed that I can't read with them in. They said try these out and we may have to change your prescription. Well the vision didn't change and when I reviewed my prescription it says right on it NOT SUITABLE FOR CONTACTS". I also asked about a blue lens option in some of their prescription sunglasses as I spend a lot time on the water and blue polarized lens help see through the water on a bright day. It was suggested to me that I could just buy a clip on blue lens and put it over my transitional polarized lens that I was already wearing for only $80.00. I thought for $80.00 I would try it
