In hunt for some delicious pastries and croissants to go with that coffee your holding right now? Stop drooling over these photos and get yourself over to Goûter right now! I’m not a huge croissant person to begin with. Probably because my croissant experience has been eating those Costco ones and I mean for value + price you can’t really say no. But after coming across Goûter, my taste buds for croissants have change. It’s so flaky, airy, and generous on the filling (pending which one you get). I’m a Nutella person so when I saw they had a Nutella Croissant I had to get one. Very gooey on the inside so if that’s your thing, grab one. Raspberry Croissant is my partners favourite and always a go-to. It’s a instant classic. Not to sweet since they use their homemade jam as the filling. The Kouign Amann was something different. It’s bread dough layered with salted butter and sugar plus it caramelizes in the oven for that crispy outside and moist inside. The Almond Croissant (not shown) in my opinion, could use more filling. I love having a lot of almond filling when having that particular one. Like the same amount as the double baked but without the chocolate.Service:During the COVID-19 protocols, 3 people at a time in the store. Very clean and employees are very helpful and always a delight to have a quick conversation with.If you made it this far, thanks for reading and go enjoy a very delicious croissant with that coffee in your hand.

After seeing the Goûter stand at the Eglinton Farmers Market I placed an order online for the following weekend. I ordered the box of 6 croissants which on their site currently it a flat price of $19.50 (no tax, but additional charges depending on what you select as your 6 and delivery). Picking up was fast and easy. The employee was prompt to get my order and was welcoming. The croissants themselves were really good; I got the raspberry, Nutella and butter croissants. They were warm, flaky and the ones with filling were stuffed full! Definitely one of the better croissants I’ve tried in the area. I highly recommend checking them out!

Absolutely delicious. Quality ingredients! Slightly on the sweet side, but in line with North American taste.

If not being one of the only places, if not the only place to get Kouign-Amann in Toronto makes Gouter worth the trip. The frozen croissants are the very best in the city. Not cheap but the quality and finished product is unbeatable. Weird opening days and their excellent breads are not always available.

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Delicious French pastries, bread and jams are too tempting not to try. The double baked croissants are one of the best I've had lately...very fresh, light and decadent without being overly sweet. Friendly and informative staff. Safety protocols in place but worth the wait!

Went there last weekend and picked up a chocolate croissant. It was not bad but it was not the best either. It was not really flaky to my disappointment and it felt like maybe it was a day old. The chocolate inside was absolutely delicious though. This is why I’m giving it a 3 star which I consider as average.

Came on a Sunday at 1130am. No line up and staff that were working were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Croissants were absolutely delicious. Family fave is their cinnamon knot. We should have ordered a dozen to go. Tried their jalapeno cheese croissant .. it was okay. Jalapeno wasn't spicy at all and the cheese was tasteless (probably because mozzarella was used) a sharper cheese would have been perfect. Having the jalapeno cut into tiny pieces and distributed throughout the croissant would also have been better than 1 slice of the pepper on top. Croissant/muffin was also delicious and the custard centre was flavored really well. Nothing was overly sweet except the almond Nutella croissant but it was still delicious. Breads, babka, jams and soups are also available for purchase. The space is nice and airy and has a larger waiting section at the front so you're not on top of anyone while waiting in line.Highly recommend a visit. Buy more than 1 item so you can sample all the tastes and textures. You won't be disappointed.

The shop is beautiful and well stocked with delicious pastries. They have a good system to keep space in the shop and the staff were very helpful with our order. Now the croissants are some of the best I've tried in the city. Lamination is on point, resulting in super fluffy and flakey breads. Thank you for the nice treat.
