Croisières Essipit / Whale Watching Essipit Cruise

Highly recommend for whale watching. Our guide Gabriel is very passionate and helpful. He informed us about the knowledge of marine animals and he is very patient to translate to English. The captain Luc is very experienced and react very fast to be close to the whale. Our visit is very enjoyable!

12 person boat is really nice, you can be much closer to the whales and water. The captain was very nice and tried his best with English to be inclusive. Lovely tour and experience!

It was a very enjoyable cruise for us. We took the 4:30 PM cruise on a Friday. The drive from Quebec city was more than three hours. There have been constructions on the way so calculate your time accordingly. The cruise was very well organized. When we reached we were asked to stand in queue with social distancing. Once you enter you are given Jackets and lifevests. I had a six year old who was given jackets and lifevest as well.The cruise started with 12 people per zodiac. The zodiacs are much better than the bigger boats as they take you closer to the whales. The initial part of the ride was thrilling with lots of water splashing. Our captain was very knowledgeable, she took us to right places where we could see the whales. We saw many Humpback whales which were enjoying the warm weather. We saw minke whale and Fin whales as well. The 2 hour ride was very enjoyable and knowledgeable. Do wear warm clothes as the water is colder than land. We visited on a warm day and still it was a bit cold. I would definitely recommend the cruise and the company because of their hospitality and very well managed cruise experience. If you have sea sickness, you should try the big boats. The company should do some marketing as people should know about their service. Five stars !!!

Great experience but disappointed with the Captain. Although half of the passengers in our boat were English speaking people, he explained everything in French. Except this drawback, the Captain was very professional in his job since he found the whales much easier and faster than other Captains. In my opinion, 12 passengers boat in much better than 36 passengers.

What a great afternoon spent with Antoine our guide on a zodiac! We saw quite a few whales, seals and some penguins! The whales got close enough to show off for us, often swimming in pairs. Antoine was a great guide- humorous and knows his whale info! I will definitely go back!

Very professional and experienced company. Two hours of whale watching. We were lucky to have good sunny weather (good idea to use sunblock when sunny). We bought tickets online ahead. Just follow the instructions on their site. We brought a bag with a camera and phones and water - it was not a problem in good weather. It was no need for extra warm clothing, but in cold weather it is a good idea to wear it. No problem with parking. In two hours, we saw three whales, two belugas with babies, dolphins, and a few seals.

Was an amazing experience totally worth the money. Staff was superfriendly and the boat trip was great fun! And yes we spottet some whales

That was an incredible experience! Today, June 26th, we saw 3 different Humpback whales on a different distance. They are so gracious and large! We are very grateful to our boat team: naturalist Gabrielle and captain Hugues! That was an amazing grand finale of our trip!

The best whale watching trip in tadoussac, small boat with only 12 people. The captain is very experienced and we've watched 4 types of whales!!!! The captain speaks English and always explained to us patiently. Highly recommended and make sure you bring a pair of spare shoes.
