We visited by snowmobile across White Otter Lake from the south. The lake is staked and groomed and completely safe. White Otter Castle is an astonishing structure and a very interesting story. Definitely recommend visiting!

You have to see the castle for yourself to really appreciate it! That somebody could build this by himself almost 100 years ago is amazing!

Beautiful day for a social distancing snomachine ride. Incredible scenery on way in & out. The White Otter Castle is a beautiful historic building

It's pretty amazing to think about the work needed to build it, especially given its remoteness. Nearby sandbar extends almost halfway across the lake - great for swimming. Old POW camp and First Nations vision pits also close by.

The always magical White Otter Castle on White Otter Lake. Accessible by boat, snowmobile or airplane, the Castle is a beautiful place to visit in any season.

Very cool castle! What a great spot to stop on a trip through White Otter lake. The history of the place is amazing. From the top level of the castle, you can see far across the lake. The lake is so crystal clear. There is a visitor board with historical information and a guest book to sign. Please don't vandalize though!

Awesome place for an adventure.Great place to canoe into, but beware of big wind though as can take extra time on trip to get in or out of.Also, shoreline is all stones (not sand) so if taking boat in make sure you have a sand anchor or paint will be scraped off right quick.Lots of ways in our out of lake, super cold and deep but again... great adventure.
