Do not go to or use this CIBC branch. They are extremely slow, they do not answer their phones, they do not return phone calls. They setup our business accounts all wrong. They can not for the life of them get me E-statements for my credit card, which I have been calling them about for well over a month. Terrible service through and through

As many others have said really bad customer service and costs you money and trustration in the end. I ended up taking my business elsewhere after trying to transfer a RRSP over from another bank. I was originally offered 3.5% rate which is pretty good but waited a month for the transfer and no one got back to me from either bank. I waited days to try to get a response from anyone (never around). During the meantime I asked the lady (Isabelle) if I could get the new CIBC rate offering of 4% and she said no even thrugh the bank has not even received my money or created any GIC! They also would not reimberse me for the transfer fee either which I always got in the past from CIBC. I would go to another branch and deal and make sure you deal with a experienced advisor or you will ger ripped off!

Be aware, this is NOT a bank. It is a service hub. They will redirect you to the 170 st /Stony Plain location if you need a teller (and that location has significant lines).

I’ve tried quite a few different CIBC branches and have had mostly not good experiences at them all. However this time I tried this branch and the experience was also not good. Quite unprofessional, incredibly slow response times, and just did not even keep me in the loop as to what was happening with my requests. After one week of waiting for a response to my email and phone call requesting an update, I ended up switching my entire banking to BMO. Best decision I’ve ever made. The customer service AND products were much much better. Thank you CIBC for driving me to a better bank!

AVOID this branch if you can.Recently, i had a very bad experience at this branch.I requested a money transfer from my non-registered GIC to my saving. This time a different customer representative dealt with my request. She told me that the request was initiated and the money will be in my savings at the end of that day. I requested for the paper documents that shows the requested transaction and she declined that request by saying that she is already late for her next appointment. Today, I figured out that the request was never initiated. She misrepresented that she actually initiated the request.From the reading of the other reviews here, I bet that this branch is pretty much USELESS and wastes time of their customers.

Very poor service. I booked an appointment online. When I arrived at the right time, they told me that there was no worker I needed and no one could help me open a RRSP account. I am extremely disappointed. I lost a few days, time and money. I would like the central office to know about the poor quality of the service of your branch.I strongly recommend avoiding this branch.
