The Valley Shoppe

My wife was in The Valley Shoppe in Millbrook a few weeks ago and found the person serving her (not sure if it was the owner) to be rude and somewhat unappreciative of her business.She had said that a couple of her friends have also previously experienced similar unfriendly customer service when they went to shop there, but she wanted to support local businesses.Needless to say she will not be returning, as the prices seemed excessive and the attitude was unwelcoming. This is a shame as we generally have enjoyed very friendly and engaging interactions with many of the business owners in this beautiful little village.I have noticed that any negative Google review for this business has been removed. I am curious to see if this one is also hidden.

My friend and I went in looking for Prayer Lilies a couple of weeks ago; we were not disappointed! A quaint shop with a variety of beautiful plants, home decor items, self care and more! Great customer service, will be returning :)

Great variety of plants and knowledgeable people to answer questions for a new houseplant enthusiast, like myself. A really great collection of local handmade wares in this shop too!

Everytime I visit The Valley Shoppe, i have a great experience. Louise is so knowledgeable and goes above and beyond every single time. The perfect place to purchase a gift or indulge in a little something for myself, such a great addition to Millbrook and worth the drive from Peterborough

I had the chance to work with Louise at a community event and she is excellent! She was prepared and did a great job educating people on the benefits and joys of indoor plants. I also purchased a succulent from her that is still thriving despite my lack of green thumb. I would highly recommend The Valley Shoppe to anyone looking for great service and high quality plants!
