Absolutely rude and racist. This officer with the brown or blonde hair and she was white questioned us with a loud and very rude voice. Like blatantly rude when we were confused because it was our first time entering Canada for a vacation. April 8,2023 at 1:10am

Wait times were ridiculous. Five booths were closed while only four open. Its not like CBSA mgmt couldn't anticipate traffic volume..baseball game in Detroit...duh! Primary officer was pleasant so that's one good point.

My family and I were Recently racially profiled by an Indian worker at the toll booth while trying to cross over to Canada. We were searched by even bigger jerks and sent to immigration due to my children having different last names from their father . Then when being asked why we were being searched they stated “no one comes to Canada for spring break” and “Kids have different last names . Then as we proceeded to leave there was another car not being searched or hackled.

I presented a molecular Covid test. Denied entry because it was antigen and not pcr. The border patrol agent was trying to pass it off as it’s no big deal you just go get a test back on the US side and come back (which is antigen by the way) makes zero sense. But it was a big deal because there was no way I could catch my train to Toronto. Money and time completely wasted. Maybe it would have been possible if people could work more efficiently but it takes 20 minutes for literally 4 cars to get through. What a joke.

Broader officers refused to have me bring my mom from the Canadian side. But allowed taxi to go through and back to the US.A month ago we were able to meet family and friends on the boarders, exchange our necessities without going into the Canadian side, now that’s not possible.It doesn’t make sense that I can’t meet my family on the boarders but taxi & limousine can do that.

I was worried with all the cones that this was going to be a long process, I did all the requirements before arriving having documents ready and it went perfectly smooth. The officer that spoke with me was pleasant and make the experience very easy. The slightly confusing road maintenance is the only reason they I am not giving 5 stars.

As required had my Arrivecan ready. Phone in my hand with QR code displayed, he says I don't need to see it, want to see your passport, where do you live and so on. Bummer. Sunday midnight, September 18, 2022.
