My recent visit to Bollywood Bristo in Guelph, Ontario was an incredibly disappointing experience that left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. I had heard mixed reviews about this restaurant, but decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, it failed to live up to even my lowest expectations.First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unengaged, providing minimal attention to the customers. It took an eternity for someone to take our orders, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic necessities like water and utensils. The waitstaff appeared overwhelmed and understaffed, leading to long waits and a complete lack of attentiveness.Moving on to the food, I must say that it was a major letdown. The menu boasted a wide array of Indian dishes, but the execution fell short. The flavors lacked depth and authenticity, and the overall presentation was lackluster. The dishes arrived lukewarm, suggesting poor kitchen management. It seemed as if the food had been hastily prepared and lacked the attention to detail that is expected in a decent restaurant.To add insult to injury, the portion sizes were meager, especially considering the prices charged. I left the restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied, which is unacceptable for an establishment claiming to offer a fulfilling dining experience. The value for money was simply nonexistent.Furthermore, the ambiance was far from inviting. The interior lacked any sense of charm or warmth, making it feel more like a generic cafeteria than a restaurant. The lack of effort in creating a pleasant dining atmosphere was evident, and it affected my overall impression of the place.Lastly, the cleanliness and hygiene standards were questionable. The tables and floors appeared dirty, and the washroom facilities were far from satisfactory. It is essential for any restaurant to prioritize cleanliness, and Bollywood Bristo failed in this regard.In conclusion, I would not recommend Bollywood Bristo in Guelph, Ontario to anyone seeking an enjoyable dining experience. The poor service, mediocre food, lackluster ambiance, and subpar cleanliness make it a regrettable choice. There are numerous other Indian restaurants in the area that offer far superior quality and value. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a memorable dining experience in Guelph.

0 stars actually, Worst food ever. Am never gonna come again here. Panner makhni taste very bad also look at gulab jamuns so disgusting.Poor presentation, no spoon or fork with the food how we gonna eat????? No napkins nothing .

My husband and I get butter chicken from here frequently. At least a couple times a month lol.Usually I call in our order, but today was a spontaneous choice and we ordered when we got there.The waitress knew my name as soon as I walked in.The food is always good and served in a timely fashion. Staff is super friendly.This is our go to place and we will definitely return.

The service was very good from Pooja. She was very patient and she did get the food as per our request and offered a nice indian beer as a side that tasted even better with the appetizers.The biryani was filling with flavors and it's nice to go again.

Recently dined in this restaurant. Great food. Naan and curry were our favs. Biriyani was awesome too. Very clean place. Attentive service. Highly recommended.

I've eaten in here and gotten takeout - both were excellent. So far I have tried the lamb korma, Malai shrimp, and butter chicken, all of which were great. Great naan too.

bought Takeout yesterday. Just so good.I had 3 appetizers and 2 mains. Maybe one of the top 3 Indian dishes I ever had 10/10.Friendly and prompt service.I will definitely eat there again. The restaurant is a little bit hidden. But don’t let the location fool you. The food is great.

Just as good as ever. Not sure why some people have left horrible reviews. I don't eat here as frequently since they left downtown, but I treated myself today and even tried new to me items on the menu and it was all as incredible as I remember! And fresh!! You can tell it was made today and I placed my order right at noon. Thank you for continuing with your delicious, clearly high quality food!

Update from July to now. I used to like this place for the lunch special but it seems like they are reheating frozen food, it's not fresh. Look at the desert photo my spoon is bending that dessert. TheGulab Juman should be soft and fluffy.
