Was only here to get my glasses fix, but ended up leaving the store with two new purchases. This gentleman Adrian provided me A+ customer service, very professional and knowledgeable. All staff are so friendly too! Such a great experience purchasing glasses in here. My new go to glasses store. Can’t recommend enough.

Very pleased with the service. Dr. Patrick Eng was very thorough and very professional with the eye examination. The client care representative Sam Dao was excellent, kind, very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to which kind of glasses I needed. Looking forward to shopping here more in the future. Highly recommend!

Had an exam here and purchased frames+lenses about a year and a half ago. I've tried to get used to the glasses, but ended up forgetting about these and got a pair from KITS instead. Recently pulled them out to try again. The glasses I got from here still gives me headaches, makes my eyes tired, and messes with my depth perception... Definitely recommend going back right away if you're not satisfied - I dropped the ball for myself because I forgot about these.Service: The doctor that did my exam was great - younger but professional and referenced recent studies when answering my questions. Customer from the shop side was okay, but nothing special and didn't strike me as particularly knowledgeable. They did direct billing.Product: Decent selection and usually has some type of promo going on. Standard brands from Luxottica, plus some off brand names. Depending on your prescription and needs, they have different types of lenses for selection.

Amazing experience at this location of Optical Thirty 8. Dr. Linda was very professional and thorough while determining my prescription. While choose frames I was helped by Eve and she went to great lengths to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. I needed these glasses rushed and she’s guaranteed that our pick up would work for me. As i were left, she gave me a goodie bag to care for my glasses. Excellent service.Edit: I’ve had nothing but problems with these glasses since getting them. The ear piece snapped off first day putting them on. Went in for a repair and he replaced that part of the arm, but it has been forever loose since then.

Hello, I met with Sam Dao at Optical 38 to fix my DITA glasses that I purchased from the store. Sam was very professional and helpful. She also showed me a few more glasses that I purchased another Two Pairs a Tom Ford and Gucci. I would highly recommend anyone looking for glasses to deal with Sam directly. Thanks, Jonathan

terrible experience -- went there and got eyes tested for myself and daughter, and ordered contact lenses for myself. A week later i called to inquire about the delivery status of my order and was informed that they dont have any records of me getting my eye exam or ordering any contacts. They only had records for my kid getting her eye exam. The representative put in a new order and i picked up my order. However the vision in one eye was blurry so they ordered a new test set of lenses for my right eye with a slightly different specification. A few days later, called in to inquire about the status of the new/updated order. Same story repeats. They still don't have any records of me getting my eyes checked or ordering any lenses, and now need to out in a new order for my lenses and wait 2 weeks to get it!!!

I always had a great experience at optical 38. Very great service and atmosphere. Dr Patric, who is the optometris, is a very very good doctor. Very kind and good at doing eye examination. He is a wonderful doctor and he has provided excellent assesment for my eye sight incident.

3 weeks ago I ordered a pair of sunglasses lenses and I was told that the order would be ready in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, I called the store to follow up and make sure it's ready, but no one answered the phone. So I went there in person and figured out that the order is not ready and it needed one more week and they forgot to call me! Today, finally, I went there to pick up the order as they said it is ready. It was ready this time, but with wrong lenses!!!!!!I paid an extra $100 for thin lenses, but they used thick ones for me! And the lady there, instead of apologizing, is telling me it's not their fault because they are sending the lenses somewhere else to be cut and made!!!!!!And now, again, I have to wait for 2 more weeks to see if they prepare the right order or not...It is a joke to pay $420 for a pair of lenses and wait 5 weeks to see whether you get the right item or not!
