Wish there was another first Ontario credit union in Brantford, I have been with Simcoe credit union and their service is number one for over 40 years. This branch needs more training and possibly replacing one person who twice now when I made a deposit was not credited to my account. Check right away that your deposits were credited to your accounts and not someone else’s.

This particular location, the mortgage specialist doesn't work for your best interest and definitely didn't know the products or how to lending works. We had many questions and they didn't know. If you need a business account then this is a good option.As for the company, the app is horrible and always requires a call or visit to reset password.

If you value your sanity stay away from this place. When we first got our mortgage through them we were excited unfortunately every time we have tried to deal with them after that has been a disaster. Nearly 2 year's ago we skipped a mortgage payment, it was taken out of our account anyways, and it was a huge hassle to correct. Fast forward nearly 2 years later and we tried to skip one again, you can skip 1 a year. We get an email stating we can't skip a payment because the last time we did was less than a year ago. I can go on my online banking history and see clear as day that's not the case because I can pull up nearly every mortgage payment I've ever made. This place is beyond frustrating to deal with, most if not all of the people who work there are clearly incompetent. I would never recommend them to anyone and I honestly can't wait until I can take my mortgage business elsewhere.

Got a new bank card this week and it can’t do debit transactions. I hope I can’t get it sorted next week

I love this branch. Friendly and always so enthusiastic about helping.If it was possible I would only deal with this branch.

I've been banking with FirstOntario Credit Union for 15 years and in the past 15 years any problems i have had it has been fixed quickly and favourably 8/10 times. So all in all a pretty great bank.

Thank you so much to Amanda at the Centre on Barton First Ontario credit union who treated me like a human being and gave me an exception to the rule. What a great feeling to know that this bank cares .

Couldn't imagine a better banking experience. I credit the staff, they're the most friendly and helpful I've encountered.
