We recently had Timberhaus Developments construct a legal suite in the basement of our 1957 raised bungalow. We met with a few different companies to get a quote and see who would be the best fit for our project. We decided to go with Timberhaus and John Wilson led the project. We couldn’t be happier with our choice! From start to finish John communicated with us every step of the way. He is both trustworthy and professional. He had great vision, ideas and recommendations but always wanted our input to ensure we were getting what we wanted. Since our house is old there were of course a few issues along the way, John told us that these issues may arise and handled them well. We now have a well constructed new basement suite that looks amazing! We highly recommend Timberhaus Developments and would not hesitate to hire them in the future. We were first introduced to Timber Haus at a YEG Garden Suites workshop. The first impression was that they were organized, well prepared, systematic, and professional. They lived up to all of those qualities. Timber Haus built a ground level garden suite in our back yard. We were extremely satisfied with the entire process. The design process was collaborative and efficient. The pricing expectations were spot on, and all decisions included accurate and up front cost information. The communication with the team was very easy - they always returned calls or emails in a reasonable time frame. The end result is a very beautiful, high quality structure that fits in well on our property and within our neighborhood. We would highly recommend Timber Haus to anybody.

We bought a spec house that was built by Timberhaus. There were dozens of infills from various builders we looked at. Timberhaus' quality of the work, materials, finishing, design elements and features were a immensely ahead of anything else we looked at over months. It has been over 1.5 years since we moved in and there has been almost no issues. When something minor comes up they are extremely responsive, friendly and professional.We would not hesitate and would likely choose to buy another of their properties or have them build for us in the Future.

The team at Timber Haus made our build a wonderful experience, even during a pandemic. They've been professional and helpful from the first consultation, through the various design stages, to handing over the keys, and the ongoing relationship to ensure that every aspect of our new home is right for us. We're so glad that we chose them to build our home.We had an old house that we couldn't restore in a way that made financial or practical sense. Because we love our neighbourhood, we decided to demolish and rebuild. There were several criteria that we had for a builder. We wanted our neighbours to still like us after the build was done. We wanted to keep the ginormous old trees in the front yard. We wanted a house that would be energy efficient and ready for future energy innovation. We wanted a house that felt like it belonged in our mature neighbourhood. We also didn't have a million dollars to spend. We needed a company that understood respectful infill, that prioritized energy efficiency, that respected our budget, and that would build something that fit the character of our street. After consulting with a number of companies, and pestering the owners and neighbours of existing infill projects, we felt confident that Timber Haus would meet our expectations. We were right!Various members of the team worked with us at different points, and each of them were great. That also includes the various partners that work with Timber Haus. We required abatement and demolition, custom design, permitting, solar panel installation, and exterior renovations to our garage. Timber Haus handled everything, from start to finish, so that we didn't have to coordinate between multiple companies or do any of the project management. They were very accommodating of our design ideas and constant questions, and provided very insightful suggestions when our ideas were impractical or when something didn't occur to us (because we've never built a house before!). For example, when picking out our kitchen lighting, our site manager pointed out the areas of the kitchen that would be in shadow if we went with our first instincts about light placement. These sorts of helpful nudges prevented us from making some choices that we likely would have regretted.No build goes perfectly, and mistakes will always happen. What matters is how those glitches get handled. We have been very impressed with how quickly and carefully any of our concerns have been addressed. When we got the keys, we also got a detailed document that outlines the ongoing relationship we will have with our builders as they continue to monitor the functioning of our home.In short, we love our home and we're very appreciative of the work and care from the entire team at Timber Haus.

We are currently in the process of building a custom infill home with Timberhaus. Our project is at the halfway point.The process and experience so far with this company have surpassed our expectations. They have been organized, professional, very easy to work with, and generally a great bunch of people. The trades have been lined up amazingly leaving no downtime in between phases of the house. It is going up so fast. We can see the care put into every detail and have no doubt this will be a home of the highest quality. They go out of their way to make sure you are getting an outstanding experience.We are excited for the final phases of our build and so so happy we chose Timberhaus!

We had an infill in Edmonton South, the Queen Alexandra area, with an older house in the front and a newly built garage suite in the back of the lot.The front house was in such in a delerict stage that it was not worth the money and effort to renovate.After checking a few builders specialized in infill construction, we approached Don and John from Timber Haus for advice.We finally chose Timber Haus to help us constructing a new house in the infill lot that we own.We made a great choice in picking Don and his team and up until now we can say we never regret it.The building permits took a while but that is normal for Edmonton.In the meantime, Don looked after our old house to make sure there was no illegal trespass since the house was vacant. He was very prompt to my request to send his team to come to check the house once there was sign of a break in or when there was a water line break in the winter.And then the time came when we finally got the permits to build. Timber Haus demolished the old house and after a year or so, a brand new marvellous house was erected.Timber Haus has an in house show room for all the materials you can pick for flooring, kitchen, … John was very helpful.Don and his team are very professional, prompt in the building process. Personally, Don is quite approachable; he texts you back in a few minutes when you have any inquiries.Don and his crew came back later to build a beautiful and tall fence giving us lot of privacy.After the house was completed, there were a few minor deficiencies which were all solved satisfactorily by Bryn, the superintendent.Bryn is also nice and efficient in his work.All in all, we had a very good experience with Timber Haus, Don, John , Bryn and all the team.They take pride in their work.We have no hesitation in recommending Timber Haus to anyone who’s contemplating building a residence, a Home .My wife Olivia and I would like to take this opportunity to send all our thanks to Don, John, Bryn and all the crew in assisting us in constructing a beautiful home.
