Horrible experience, unprofessional and extremely unreliable.. Kathrine De Segun was my “advisor” if you can even call her that… she was unprofessional and did not seem to know what she was talking about.. when you talk to an advisor you expect them to know what they are talking about and lead you in the right direction..Friday morning I gave her everything she needed to apply for a line of credit, after multiple emails and a phone call wanting to confirm the application was made she replied at 5 pm I’ll be back Tuesday and ‘I’ll see if I can get to it today”…. She knew my situation and had no urgency in taking care of her customers.. she was more concerned with getting off on a Friday night than she was taking care of her clients.. I made multiple calls to the assistant branch manager and the branch manager with no response.. I went in to the branch to find out the application was never made.. this is extremely upsetting and pathetic.. this “advisor” couldn’t talk 5 minutes to send in an application when she had everything she needed for 8 hours. AVOID this branch if you can, they are not reliable and not the branch you want to work with.. I am now and at Mapleveiw with an advisor who completed my application in 5 minutes..

Riddulus hours 5pm on Thursday and Friday????? We have to take time off work to do our banking? No excuse for this Scotiabank.

Bad customer service I went to make a deposit here and the girl put it as a withdrawal and after I went back to fix the problem someone sent a link and I opened it and made a payment thinking it was Netflix and some made a withdrawal of 100 dollars 10 times from the same business and the bank said they didn't find anything suspicious and when I checked the business online it didn't exist and withdrawal was done somewhere in Quebec. I lost my money and they don' take responsibility

I have always had a good customer service experience with Scotiabank, both at the branches as well as over the phone and online. I look forward to continue working with them.

Very friendly and nice staffs. We did not have appointment but came in to ask and met a financial advisor at the door waiting for his appointment. He right away brought us in his office and helped with solution and info for couple mins til his appointment showed up. That helped us a lot when we didn’t know what should do. After that 2 tellers were very nice that helped us as well. Very good experience with this branch for the 1st time although they are not our home branch.

Scotia has to be the worst bank in Canada. They randomly lock you out of your money. Apply ridiculous fees and they close at 5. This branch has terrible customer service and after 25 years with them its time to move on. Clearly my business isn't important to them

Nightmare after nightmare experience hereHusband's locked out of his online account so we can't even pay our bills.And now my cheq is being held after years of no holds. Why is it so problematic here? The only good thing about this bank is Giannina. She deserves 5 stars

Very rude customer service, showed up 10 minutes after closing, yes you’re closed but why are you closed at 5pm. Using the understaffed excuse is brutal. Working 9-5 isn’t hard hours. Scotia is a pathetic bank at this point. Also, why can you only withdrawal 5k a day? It’s your own money at your home branch..

Horrible service! The people there don't know what they're doing, are so rude and unprofessional. They just try to get you out the door without listening to your concerns. Will never be banking with them again!

The tellers don't know what they are doing.They always try to blame customers for their own ignorance despite being rude to customers as well.Worst branch ever. They need some good training for their positions.
