Had to make an unplanned visit due to broken glasses. They were able to get me in for an eye exam pretty quickly considering I did not have an appointment. Ended up finding a new pair of glasses which were ready for pick up the following day. Thank you for your help

my buddy recommended this location, said he had a great experience. place won’t answer the phone anytime i call, and there’s no answering machine set up. i’ve called on 5 different occasions now

On Jan 17, 2023 my husband and the owner of the optical agreed on eye glasses progressive Varilux X-Series with authenticity card from Essilor and my husband paid $200 deposit.My husband decided to order his glasses here because the owner seems nice and he said “he is a man of honour, he will do want he say”. We have option to buy at Loblaws optical wherein they have promotion of buy one take one which will end January 18th.We expected that the new eye glasses will arrived in two weeks time.We called the optical yesterday (Jan 28th) around 10:00AM to follow up if the glasses is ready for pick up. The lady who answered the phone said it will be ready for pickup at 2:00PM. We call the optical again around 3:25PM to make sure that we can pickup the glasses and the lady who answered the phone confirmed it.We arrived at the optical and the owner said the frame was damaged and he need to reorder it. Then they show to my husband the authenticity card, my husband noticed that the Varilux was E-Series. He asked the owner why it’s E-Series, the deal they closed on January 17th was X-Series, then the owner say he decided to get E-Series for my husband because he saying that was my husband last lenses.Why he didn’t keep his word for the X-Series? The owner keep saying E and X series are the same. My husband told the owner they are not the same. X-series is the highest end of Varilux progressive lenses, top of the line.The owner said, how did you know that E and X series is not the same. We told him it was in Essilor website then my husband mentioned to him what is the difference of E from X.To our surprise the owner just said he will returned the $200. He returned the money but all those expectations that we will get the glasses that we are expecting just got all lost, we wasted our time and effort dealing to this optical. We also lost other opportunity that we have to get glasses at Loblaws because this optical owner gave his word to my husband but eventually just change his mind because he will not earn a lot on our deal. Is this how you deal with your customer? Why it was not communicated to us when we called two times? This is so frustrating and traumatizing, the owner just want to say, ok I will return your money. I hope you will not do this to other people.

Honestly the nicest team, and they all work together to help you out. Great selection and great prices. Can't beat the customer service. Needed eye exams for my family and they took us right away. We will certainly be back!

I got this pair of glasses ,its worth the money spent! Decided to drop a review as it was my first time purchasing from this store.I really my love my glasses, The staff was very helpful with the selections ... they are very professional and the service was amazing .I will definitely Recommend this store if you want a good pair.

Buyer beware! Bought 4 pairs of sunglasses two of which were designer. I noticed a defect on my husbands Versace sunglasses, owner stated that it wasn’t their time of purchase and there was nothing he could do. Huge scam artist. Do Not Go Here

Would give 0 stars but I can’t. Wasn’t allowed to look at glasses was made to sit at the front of the store. Anytime I moved I was quickly reminded to sit down. Then was shown a few pairs of work glasses to chooses from. If that awkward experience wasn’t enough I had to call them weeks after the order to find out my glasses were in. I went in to get my glasses to find out they didn’t even order the right pair nor in my prescription. When I asked if I could have my paperwork back to go somewhere else they flat out refused and told me I had to wait until Monday for them to give me an answer on if they could even get me the glasses I ordered. After this experience I will never be back. They scammed me and now I don’t have work glasses and have to go somewhere else and pay out of pocket.Update - got forced into taking glasses that don’t fit nor are my prescription! Buyer beware!!! I’ll never step foot into this place again. Thank god for Hakim optical for going above and beyond after hearing how I was treated here

This place is amazing! I went in for the first time because my glasses were bent. They fixed them for me quickly and at no charge. Wow! I know where I'll be going for my next pair of glasses!
