Shetland Conservation Area

Paddled down from Mosside line and used this great spot for a take out. River was fantastic and an easy stretch on a cool windy day

Camping is quiet and relaxing everyone is friendly

It's a nice little park to go for a picnic.

No tent camping 2020 and for end of year for trailer parking is crazy for the service given! Not worth the time

It is a very small trailer park type camping area. Parking was at the edge of the road for us to get to the dock. Then there are stairs to walk down to the floating dock.No washrooms in this area but there is a kids play area. Nice spot for a picnic. Table available at the top of the stairs to the floating dock.Next time we will launch across the river at the Shetland Conservation Boat launch.If you head toward the bridge, caution..the water is very shallow with lots and lots of rocks. Very hard to paddle with only a few inches of water over the rocks you cannot see until on top of them or feel them under you. ...for this time of year. Should be very different with higher water levels.

Fabulous kayaking quiet clean

Great place to camp. First year season lot holders and will do it again. Great people out there, peaceful and quiet. Plus close to home for us!!

Nice quiet place off the beaten path. Some people camp here. We take the kids here on occassion to run around and play on the equipment. There is a dock also and boat ramp just across the river.

It's so clean here. The neighbours are friendly and their kids are polite and happy go lucky.

Its quiet until people show up than it's not as nice
