Absolutely Nails

Pretty Bad experience here. A woman named Oanh did my nails. Right off the bat she was cold and harsh. I was actually only coming here because my good friend was a regular. I do not live in the area. From the beginning the nail tech kept mentioning how my nails were obviously done somewhere else and that next time she would remove the whole nail because she was dissatisfied with the the product used by my regular nail tech. To be honest the product was fine and there was no lifting after almost a month. Anyways. That wasnt the worst of it. I brought my nail kit from my other nail place which is basically just a buffer and nail file. She laughed at me and said they were no good here and that she cant even use them. The nail tech beside her nicely told me that one was used for something else. How was I suppose to know that. At the end of it she was reckless in filing my nails and came off as sarcastic throughout my whole experience. Even if I had any complaints I chose not to make my friend who brought me there feel uncomfortable. I was obviously never coming back. At the end of it when the nail tech had been so quick to shoot down another nail places quality her work left me extremely dissatisfied. I will attach a picture.

This was my first time here and it’s the best pedicure and set of nails I’ve had in a long time. Both technicians took their time and did a fantastic job! I got the new gel X and They look exactly as I wanted, super natural. I will definitely be recommending and coming back.

The service was great, but the receptionist walking around the salon with angry eyes, was kind of scary. I used to go to this place, everyone was happy, laughing, joyful, today it felt cold and military. While one of the technicians working on this old ladies hands, the receptionist lady approached her and asked what are you doing? she said I'm just finishing the polish, the receptionist the replied to the technician: I need to know if she is changing the color.I did not enjoy my experience at all! As I said, I felt like I was in a military camp! the receptionist had her hand on her back, walking around as if she was inspecting the technician's work. like an army general. Please either give her some customer service training, or kindness training, or how to look welcoming and pleasant. But, I won't return because I am not sure if the technicians are being treated well. Seriously, the atmosphere was eerie. But I wish I knew if any of them start working elsewhere, because I would follow the technicians.

This is my first time getting my nails professionally done and I am extremely upset. I feel like I got taken advantage of by being 15 years old and my nails were $96. My nail tech did not measure my nails, cut my cuticles, and properly paint my nails. She did not do what I asked for and my nails do not even fit my nail bed. I will never be coming back.

I’ve been going here for about a dozen years. I was extremely disappointed today with their services. I asked for a manicure with gel nail polish.All I got was MY nails manicured with some gel paint. I’m extremely disappointed with the “extra” charges on everything, that I thought were part of a manicure, yet as they do these “extras” there’s no mention of extra costs until you arrive at the till. It was very, very expensive +++. On top of it, they were very rude. I won’t go back! I will not recommend this business to anyone I know.

I normally love coming here. Today I left crying. I came to get some gel x nails removed that I had gotten done at this salon. When I was seated I asked the lady if she could give me gel with a French tip on my natural nail. When she was filing off my gel x the nail drill kept slipping and filing my skin on my finger tips. I sat there and stayed patient but after about the 10th time I said “ow that hurts, why is this happening?” And Heidy said nothing and gestured for me to give my hand back. I was shocked and it continued to happen. Then finally she tried removing the gel x with acetone and a tool instead. After she removed it, all she did was put on a clear coat. I left crying and when I came back to explain my experience they didn’t take any accountability or have any compassion. I left with hands still covered in acetone. The picture speaks for itself.

It’s been a long time since I’ve last been here and honestly, their customer service has improved so much! I came in as a walk-in and it happened to be good timing they took me in right away and started on my nails (I think this was just luck) but I paid $65 for a full new set of nails and she did exactly what I wanted! I’m so happy with my nails they’re so pretty.

Been going here for 13 years. My nails always look fabulous. Go with Gel nails! They are thinner feeling, last longer, and don't lift!!! Amazing!!!!!They do an amazing job on eyelashes, as well as eyebrows too.

Abusive, rude and very unprofessionalI would never recommend going to Rose. I had an appointment booked and arrived home on time to be told there had been a mix up and they’d scheduled me for an hour later. They asked me to wait to see if they could get me in which they did but from the get go, Rose was rude to me, seemed irritated and was extremely rough handling my hands. She complained about my nails and seemed angry that her schedule was messed up. No apology to me for the mix up.It was the most uncomfortable appointment I have ever been too. She was so rough on my hands….yanking and shoving my hands back and forth and squishing my fingers when filing and painting them. Honestly never felt pain like she inflicted on me while doing my nails. At first I thought I was just being sensitive but it only got worse. By the time I left I had 5 cuticles she had ground down with her dremel leaving them raw and bleeding. I came home and had to bandaged all of them and they are swollen and sore the morning after. I asked for coffin nails and she made them short and stubby not looking at all what I’d asked for. I left to find white nail polish on the skin around my nails from the awful paint job she did on my nails. Absolutely the most ABUSIVE and unprofessional appointment I’ve ever experienced and I would never recommend this salon. I even gave her a tip which was a mistake. $78 for a fill from hell. Don’t waste your time and money with this place. There’s better salons in White Rock.

I’ve never had to wait past my appointment time, my shellac has also looked perfect, and the one time it chipped a few days later they fixed it with zero hassle. I’ve been coming every couple months for about a year now and I’ve always left really happy. I like that I have my own file and buffer as well, feels more hygienic. Would definitely recommend!
