RBC Royal Bank

This particular RBC is one of my favourite location because the peope who work is just awesome and very friendly. Like they always make it a point that they always ask the customers if they have been serve or someone already help them, financial advisers are also great so as the simple customer representative. Awesome service i would always go back here even if its a little too far from me.

I have to update this review as after the bad experience I had with the employee, one of the Manager (Christopher) personally took care of my file and things went from really bad to very good. I would have given 5 stars if I had solely dealt with Chris but because of the employee I met at the beginning, I'm giving a 3 stars.Very slow, do not respond back! If the person you first deal with is absent, good luck as no one will help you! I thought RBC was great, I was considering to move all my banking products there but with the current experience, OUT OF QUESTION!Plus, no reception desk (or invisible person) so if you have a general question, you have to wait a long time to see a Teller! And by the way, the teller cannot help you!

This is the worst, branch I have ever dealt with.The customer service is, not there.The teller never smiled,go to another branch.

I am really disappointed: I have been trying to call Ms. Scharf since yesterday for an urgent money transfer but no one is answering my calls. When I send an email I get half of my questions answered!

I had an appointment with a financial advisor named Sarah from this branch. It was a phone appointment and the person called and left a VM since I was on another call.I started calling the number provided by them almost immediately over 10 times and left 3 VM but no one returned the call. I have never seen such a dismal service from any other banks in Canada.This incident broke the camel’s back and I will never bank with RBC again.RBC is the worst of the big banks in Canada. Save yourselves the time and go with some other bank.

I was just in not too long ago and dealt with a wonderful young lady, I think her name was Maury or Maurine. Anyways, she exceeded my expectations and provided me with the best customer service. She was patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. She did all she could to accommodate my needs while keeping a smile on her face. Thank you for the excellent customer service Maury/Maurine.

Poor policy. Trashy location. It doesn’t even follow RBC rules and procedure . I went like 3 times to the location to certify the cheque. The associate named Yan rejected to certify the cheque . He said RBC doesn’t certify the cheque anymore. Later I went to cash money and they cashed my cheque without even asking any single question.

I have 2 friends that just moved to Canada, didn’t know anything. First day in Ottawa they thought it would be hard to open a bank account, however Michelle Kelsey ( I hope I didn’t spell the name wrong) was really helpful, she and her manager even delayed their lunch break to get these 2 new landed immigrants started with their new chapter in Canada. Me myself I been with Td my whole life, I will never change it just because I been with them for so long. However I give 5 stars for the service RBC did for my 2 new friends that just entered canada.

The bank was over-crowded during my last visit. Some customers will not have privacy because some tellers like to yell out your personal information (such as your address). The diversity" of the staff negatively affects the service of this branch. They play loud rap music here. I don't think that's normal at any bank. They also hire too many rude and immature people who waste time gossiping about non-sense instead doing something productive. The manager seems to be ok with that."
