My husband and I have been dealing with the TD bank on Lansdowne for a number of years and moved to the North End of Peterborough about 8 years ago. We still go to our original bank but also go to the one on Chemong frequently too as it is closer. I also like the fact that the line ups are shorter and the tellers are extremely friendly. I came to this site to check on the closing times and noticed the number of negative reviews, and couldn't just let them go without giving my two cents worth. I have NEVER had an occasion to say anything bad about this bank.

Just had my last transaction with this bank… user beware, specially if you get a money order. I made a money order for $100 in US 1 dollar bills so I could tip on my trip down south, Carlos says “ It will be in January 5th at the latest, BUT WE WILL CALL” welllll its January 7th no call came so I go in because I am leaving in 12 hours and of course they have no 1s again .. said some sorry excuse called 2 branches and said sorry nothing we can do here’s some 5s go find a bank to exchange them at.

Great people. It's always stressful when I have to go in to the bank because it means a lost or compromised card or some issue outside of my expertise. I'm sure it's obvious to the staff I'm not very happy but the continue to be calm and helpful and soon the issue is resolved and I can breathe again.

The tellers at the front was wonderful to talk too. Openly provided information and seemed happy to do so. We talked about credit cards the benefits and risks in a way that was easy to understand.

The employees at this location are polite and appear helpful, but they're not very effective. My wife has been trying to open an account at this branch for over a month now without success. We've called the main TD helpline for updates and on two separate occasions they've confirmed that they haven't received the documents from the Chemong TD branch. You would think that it would be a part of the TD branch employee's workflow to actually confirm receipt of documentation after submission. OR follow up if weeks pass without progress. We've heard the account will be all set up by next week at the latest" for almost 5 weeks now."
