Seek Wilderness Accommodations

My family of 5 - 2 adults, 3 kids - spent three nights in the Aspen cabin. It. Was. Fantastic.Highly recommend Seek - definitely the cabins, but the yurts and tent sites looked awesome too.

The cabin was so clean, little things like bug spray and matches were an appreciated touch. A thoughtful gift was left from the owner for my birthday which was so sweet. Hot tub was a great way to relax and end the day. Cannot wait to return!

I’ve stayed in 3 of Seek’s shipping container cabins and each one was perfect! They’re beautifully finished, cozy, clean, and the perfect place to stay while away.They’ve put so much thought into every detail of the cabins.I appreciate that it’s far enough out of town that it feels peaceful and beautiful, but it’s close enough to get into town within just a few minutes.

We stayed the night in June and really enjoyed it . Everything was absolutely perfect. I was really impressed with the information booklet that showed everything about Truro, surrounding area, the park, and maps. The only negative is you can't cook inside so it's BBQ which is awesome but you need to prepare for your stay. Also I was impressed with the attention to the environment. Recycling, the hot tub, the coffee pods . You could tell real attention to detail was made in all aspects.

Seek accommodations are a total gem! On arrival I was greeted by one of the owners who was very friendly/accommodating, he provided us with some extra seating for our group to lounge out on one cabin patio together. We chose to rent the Aspen & Maple for a girls weekend. We had 5 of us in each cabin & were very comfortable. Everyone raved about the comfort of the beds! We also had door dash delivery later in the evening, it arrived quickly & they had no trouble finding us. Would highly recommend checking out the high quality accommodations Seek has to offer!

We stayed in Maple with our two preschoolers during the long weekend. Despite all the cabins being booked for the weekend it felt secluded and private the whole time. The wifi and water pressure were both great, and we really never saw our neighbours at all.Sleeping: The beds are as comfy for bunk beds. If you like a firmer pillow you may want to bring yours with you. There were lots of extra blankets, and both bedrooms had their own heat control.Adventures & Fun: The Winding Fern trail was a great shorter woods walk, and the Rail Yard Trails are great for longer hikes into Victoria Park. We enjoyed the hot tub & it was easy to use! There was also a generous amount of firewood available for campfires.Essentials: There were lots of dishes & towels, shampoo and conditioner, nice touches like hot chocolate & trail mix, coffee & tea.Things to consider: A wireless speaker would be good to bring along, slippers are nice for chilly morning floors and if bringing younger kids make sure to bring lots of toys/games etc to entertain them. Functionally everything is kid friendly, but you are ultimately in the middle of the woods in a space best suited for adults so the more entertainment you can bring them the more relaxed you can be.All in all Seek has become one of our favourite spots to visit in Nova Scotia.

We loved our stay in the Pine yurt at Seek. It was so nice to feel like we were away even though it was only 15 minutes from home. The accommodations were cozy and clean and had everything we needed. They really thought of everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seek. The accommodation was well done. We booked the Balsam Fir not realizing it didn’t have a hot tub. That feature would have made our stay even better.The unit was an accessible unit and we loved the big open bathroom!We will definitely be back and take in more of the wilderness in Victoria Park.Amazing venture! Keep up the great work.

I’ve stayed 3 separate occasions and each were amazing. Such a cozy little area tucked away yet so close to everything you could possibly need. So many trails in Victoria park and also within a decent radius of Truro. Whether you’re a hiker, or just want a place to relax, come stay here. You will not regret it. Already planning my next trip.

My husband & I recently had a romantic getaway at Seek & were very pleased. It was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing! The hot tub was the best part! We will definitely be back to visit again & hope you have more discount stays in the future!
