*update*The subwoofer I had installed in my trunk is working fine, sounds fine, but I hadn't really taken a moment to sit and listen to it. Once I did I couldn't help but notice an odd sound coming from the enclosed subwoofer box. I remember reading that some boxes let air escape from where the power wires port through and I figured that it might just be that. When I opened the box I immediately noticed that when the amp was installed on the back of the box, the screws penetrated the enclosure allowing for air to escape at each screw. This coupled with subwoofer itself being mounted off center from the opening (which meant some screws blew out because they were too close to the rim or the opening) caused alot of air to push out of the enclosure creating some odd noises. After resealing the entire inside of the enclosure with acoustic caulking and mounting the speaker a bit better I'm getting muuuuch better sound and it's alot louder. Overall I'm happy with the wiring job done and they were very quick and good to work with. However in the future I think I might go somewhere else because I don't think there was quite as much attention to detail as I was hoping for. (One photo shows the screws from the amp install on the back, the rest of the spots along the rim are where the screws were too close and it caused the wood to blowout, all easy to reseal with acoustic caulk but a bit frustrating nonetheless)Recently purchased a new vehicle and wanted to install my subwoofer from my previous vehicle into the new one. The guys at Sound Electronics were incredible in terms of customer service and not trying to sell me on anything I didn't need. Their price is very fair and I'm very happy with my experience here. I would absolutely recommend you come here if you need anything audio related!

I have been dealing with Sound Electronics for many years. From the late 80's when Sound Electronics founder, Ed, loaded my 79 Camaro with many, many watts of pounding Alpine power, to the 2000's when Ed super tuned my CB radio's for my big rigs so that I was safe on North America's highways and Mountains, to Fran hooking me up with an awesome stereo for our 68' Firebird 400, and most recently, a new remote starter for my Challenger. Over the years Ed and Fran have always been a true pleasure to deal with. Ed's work ethics, years of knowledge, and customer relations skills were definitely passed on to Fran.Thanks guys!!

Worked with the owner to help design and build the system I was looking for. As a difficult customer, with high expectations and an average budget, I am very happy with the results! The owner was excellent to deal with when I had questions or concerns. The final results are great!Didn't realize until the build was almost completed, how fortunate I was to have Sound Electronics this close to home.
