I took my family here on New years eve for a bite to eat while we watched our friends perform the live entertainment for the night. We were given one menu, at $60/plate. Assuming this was the only food option, as other diners around us that we asked had also done, we begrudgingly ordered from this menu with plans amongst the family (2 teens, 2 parents) to share drinks to save on cost. We were very hungry and thought this place had regular burgers and such, as the website advertised. After ordering and getting the first course of soup, another friend joined us. She got 2 menus!!!!!! A regular menu and a fancy menu. She ordered normal food while my teens and I drooled, and picked at the dusgusting food we were served. Seriously! I wouldnt have been so upset if the meal was worth the $240. As a professional cook myself, I had high hopes. The Cornish hen was weirdly sticky.on my teeth, no flavour, and very dry. The other $60 meal option was steak, which was about 4 bites big, not a nice cut, and not cooked to the way that was asked. The flavor combinations in the meals were SO HORRID! Not compatable at all. We weren't allowed to change our order. We weren't apologized to by the Manger or owner or chef. We weren't discounted. The server apologized, but i am quite confident this was no mistake and something done on purpose by the owner in order to sell enough specialty meals that there would be no money loss.

Given the price point and being in the Delta, I expected more. Adding to the fact that Charlottetown had so many amazing restaurants, I expected more. Our group was disappointed with their dishes. We had 4 different entrees and they were sad. Given the cost per meal, we could have eaten at a number of restaurants for less and received more. The decor is sad. Given where this restaurant is located, you could do so much more and really should. We will not be returning and would advise others to take your money elsewhere.

Evening after a snowstorm nothing else was open in downtown Charlottetown that I could find. I was very pleasantly surprised by Water’s Edge.Seafood Pasta was delicious. Bartender was friendly and made a decent old fashioned.Overall, good service and good food. Some interesting cocktails on the menu and a decent variety of beer on tap.Worth visiting if you’re in PEI.

I had been here with a family member that was visiting from another province for drinks & apps. It was wonderful. Fast forward to summer 2021 my partner & I decided to go here for date night. Our server was a little short with us. I was being indecisive so we asked for some more time to review the menu a few times. I understand not wanting to leave a customer too long incase they have made a decision but there’s also no need to be irritated if the customer needs more time with the menu. I got the steak, medium, the description & price lead me to believe it was a good quality steak. It wasn’t edible. It was like chewing on a rubber boot. My partner tried a bite & he agreed. It was difficult to cut with a steak knife. It reminded me of the low quality steak that you get at a diner that’s still hAlf frozen when it’s thrown on the grill. Im giving 2 stars because my partners meal was edible. As we were leaving I over heard another person order a steak & I was tempted to tell them to order something else because it was such a disappointment. Hoping to try again to do apps only, but as for now, we won’t be back.

I ordered jambalaya and my chose the fish and chips. We planned on sharing our meals and where surprised when our food was served. The order of fish was huge. Two large pieces with plenty of French fries. Delicious and tender. My jambalaya was in a covered bowl filled with more than I expected and very tasty. We both enjoyed our meal

Limited food choices and overpriced compared to the small food portions. Service was kind and helpful but the food overall was not very good and in some cases burnt.I would recommend taking the short walk to nearby restaurants with much better food for the same price.

The food here isn’t just good. Some of the food here is stale. We had Jambalaya, fish and chips and chicken burger and everything was unsatisfactory. We would have definitely skipped this place, but the only reason we head to this place is for the parking space that is available here unlike rest of Charlottetown.
