St. Malo Provincial Park Campground Office

Amazing experience. The park was great, campground sites were fantastic, and the beach was fab!Only complaints were show 2 in bay 2 didn't work, and even when reported didn't seem to get fixed. Also lack of garbage cans near playground, and those that were in and around the park were always overflowing.We will be back though!

Been camping here for many years and am sorry to report a steady decline in the park. During Covid-19, cleaning was supposed to be increased significantly. It wasn't. Bathrooms were for the most part filthy. Friday cleanings were decent, however incomplete. Corners were completely missed. Spider webs/dead insects remained during our entire 3 week stay. During the week it looked like bathrooms were not cleaned at all. Toilet paper on the floor on Monday mornings usually remained there until Friday. The only nice thing was we were supposed to supply soap,TP, etc. This was supplied in the bathrooms. Showers were terrible. It cost $1 for 3 minutes, but the water frequently ran so hot you could not stand in it. The majority of shower heads need to be replaced as water flowed in all directions. Also, water pressure was inadequate. Park patrols were infrequent - in the three weeks we were there we only saw patrols drive by 5 or so times. The staff we did have interactions with were friendly, however there were not many of these interactions. In general, public beach goers were inconsiderate of others. Music was frequently played loudly by groups. On several occasions it seemed several groups were trying to outdo each other in how loud they could play music. On the positive side the beach was better than last year. The water was cleaner with far less weeds.Although the park cannot do anything about it, there are many pig farms in the area. If the wind is just right the stench from the farms makes air quality very poor. There were a few nights where the smell was so bad it actually kept me up at night. It is too bad as it is nice park conveniently located close to the city.

All I got to say about this place: it's nicely organized and great camping site

Very disgusting!!!! For being a provincial campground there is no excuse for not maintaining there campsites, walkways to washrooms, roadways that was washed out. Everything that had low spots that needed to be filled in with gravel.Trying to have a fire sitting around a muddy swamp. What a terrible way to waste a week off.Not recommended to say here. Office staff could care less.

No debit machines on may long, but otherwise great as always

loved it! it was my first time camping with my mom. the place was easy to find, had ample space and a little. it of forest in between sites which is nice for a little privacy. everyone we met was super friendly and kind. I was in bay 1, it was very close to the wood vendor, and a short drive away from the beach.washrooms are modern, have pay per use showers and flushing toilets.would definitely recommend this place! can't wait to come back again!

Lots of space, sand is decent, you can prepay your park pass but needs to be printed out and on your dash. Very family friendly

It was lovely there. The camping sites were large, bathrooms were clean and the beach was great. Lots of fun things to do here for all ages!

Very, very loud and too many people. We had out-of-province squatters show up next to our site at midnight. They very loudly set up their tent and didn't shut up until close to 5am. By 10am that morning, they had left, leaving behind a bunch of garbage and beer cans. They clearly drove around the park looking for an empty site to squat at for free for the night. It was so off-putting that we only stayed one night despite being booked for two.The only redeeming quality was that the beaches are gorgeous and the washrooms were pretty clean. We loved our site as well.

Very dirty washroom, no tissue, and smells so bad. Not coming back for sure.
