Canadian Footwear

Went to get some new steel boots today and at the recommendation of some co workers I tried work boot warehouse on regent. Service was terrible/non existent. Went to marks next and finally to Canadian footwear on st. Mary’s rd. I was greeted by Todd who was phenomenal, unlike the other 2 places they had everything in my size in stock, he measured my feet, took the time to recommend different options, opened them up and pulled out the insoles to measure against my feet, he even laced them up for me. Todd was fantastic, a true professional. Exceptional customer service, highly recommend.

Very disappointed. Made two back-to-back appointments at Adelaide location for two people. Had pre-discussed needs with staff before coming in. When we got there, there was only one appointment made and it was not nearly enough time. It was like the pre-discussion had never happened. When we didn’t like the one pair of shoes offered, the staff member seemed to be aggravated with us. When we said we would like to see something else in a different style, the staff member told us she didn’t have enough time. When I said that I was disappointed that one of the appointments had not been booked, the staff member didn’t acknowledge what I said and told me to book another appointment for another day. I don’t want to shop at a store where they are aggravated with me when I don’t buy the one pair of shoes available in the time allotted. Even though I had pre-discussed and pre-booked an appointment, our trip was wasted.

Exceptional ServiceThis was probably the best shoe buying experience I've had. When me and my mom went here on 08/20/21, we were greeted by an older gentleman who went over the usual COVID questions with us, then asked us what kind of shoes we were there for, we told him about my foot surgery, and then he told us that a specialist would be out right away, and within seconds, Susan was there to help us find what we were looking for, and that she did. She measured my feet and went over with us what would be a good choice based on my specific preferences and needs. She also helped me find a pair of socks that would help to keep my feet cool and help with my poor circulation. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, as well as professional. I would highly recommend Susan to anyone looking the perfect fit.Thank you, Susan!

I took my son to this location on Fri. Aug. 20/21, as he has some special fitting needs.We were pleasantly greeted at the door by (I believe his name was Adam), and assisted by Susan.Susan was very helpful, knowledgeable and informative. She measured and fit him, added 2 different types of padded inserts for a year, and taught him special lacing techniques to help with proper fit. She addressed his needs with regards to poor circulation and keeping his feet cool with bamboo socks that were made with special wicking, and let us know we could return for help with other lacing techniques, and had a year warranty on the shoes.Their product was of high quality and extremely well-made.Our shoe shoppingexperience was by far superior to any other. I highly recommend the store and its supervisor, Claire. She is very knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time with my mother (who has various issues with her feet): measuring her, then trying different shoes out, until my mother was happy with how the shoe felt. Would, definitely, go there again.

Excellent location to purchase footwear. Staff are professional and unlike other shops, measure your foot to get the right size. Selection was excellent and getting different sizes of the same footwear was quick.They really do ensure you are happy with your choice before you purchase. Also have a good return policy if you aren't happy with the fit when you get home.

A professional shoe experienceThis location has a decent parking with good amount of parking. They share the parking lot with mary brown's chicken. It's the large first lot (north end of the lot). It is pretty easy to drive too far and miss the entrance.Once you park and get inside you are greeted and asked a few questions. You get to sanitize your hands and provided with an attendant.The attendant will guide your shopping experience. They can quickly find what you are looking for, make sure it's a good fit.Experienced staff makes the shop fast and easy.Prices are on par with other stores. They have a great variety of quality footwear. I have bought several pairs of Keen's and work shoes from them.Update 2022 JuneBought some Darn tough socks, lifetime warranty we will see how good these merino wool socks are.

Went in there the other day looking for a New pair of Keen boots. I was wearing my old pair of Keens and having spent $300 on a pair of Baffins last winter in this store I learnt that they also sell my exact Keen Boots. Although they are not the most common they are the best boots I've owned. Assuming that I may have to order these boots I entered your store to be greated by an older fella. I asked him about my boots and he quickly responded with a no. Never even batted an eye. Then when I questioned him about it once again I was blown a big no we don't.Now I'm obviously more educated with your product lines then your staff which is a shame.But the fact that this man didn't even bother to look when clearly over his shoulder was your display of Keen Boots.I just saw your TV ad and it literally ticked me off which sparked this review.And when I think back to when I bought my Baffins from you last year, the fella that finalized the sale was also a total jerk.The lady manager was awesome and unfortunately she had to turn me over to this piece of work who appeared to be taking credit for the sale at the till.I'd have to be desperate before I'd go back.That's about $600 in boots folks!

Claire at the St. Vital location helped me find the perfect footwear for an upcoming wedding I was invited too. I have wide feet and struggle to find shoes/boots that fit and are comfortable too. Claire did a great job of making sure my new pair were comfortable. I've worn them several times since and am so happy with them. Thanks so much!

I had some bad experiences at other locations but as soon as I entered this location I was listened to and well taken care of.I need very specific shoes due to my flat feet but Claire helped me out and was very knowledgeable. she helped me pick out a great pair of winter boots that will support my feet well and keep me warm ! All while being very attentive and friendly.Thank you, Claire, I have been loving my new boots!
