The Bobcaygeon bakery offers delicious baked goods in a very pleasant and neat environment. There's a fabulous display of the downtown core of Bobcaygeon rendered in Gingerbread, be sure to to check it out! This store offers physical distancing and has sanitizing options.

Visit, June, 2021. Wonderful and tasty. Top notch quality, was particularly fond of the very delicious scones. Items are priced accordingly to the high quality of these baked goods.

Great staff, bright, lovely bakery. Please do not buy any Portugeuse custard tarts. Leave them all for me. Do I need to eat all the Portugeuse custard tarts? No. What's it to you? Stop judging me. Life is short, allow me this one sliver of joy.

So many calories, so little time to try them all....Tiny bakery that sells everything from bread to cookies, butter tarts to cakes and pies.We tried the sausage rolls, butter tarts (plain, raisin, pecan), peanut butter cookies, date squares and triple chocolate brownies on our last visit and all were superb. Staff was pleasant and friendly even though she was quite busy, prices are a little higher but well worth the quality of the product.

We were there on the Saturday over Labour Day weekend. We waited for about 20 minutes in line before it was our turn. Only two people are allowed in the store at a time and no exceptions are made for kids. We got a selection of treats, including honey pecan bars, ferns tarts, apple fritters, brownies, cookies and a lemon square. It was all so delicious! The service was friendly, but they were definitely short-staffed. And, as nice gesture, we were given a small bag of mini meringues because of the long wait. I hope they continue with this as it goes a long way toward fostering good will among customers.

I've loved absolutely everything I've tried! I might even snap a pic before I devour something one of these days! Hahahaha! My top picks are the Pastel de Nata aka Portuguese Tarts aka Custard Tarts, brownies, and croissants! The treats aren't the only sweet thing about this bakery, the customer service and atmosphere is also wonderfully perfect!

Bobcaygeon is a little and adorable town. There are restaurants and small shops along the towns main streets. We read reviews about Bobcaygeon Bakery and ventured here for breakfast. A lovely experience: cute store front and inside. Lots of choices of goods: savory and sweet, and they all look good which is a good first impression. Then you taste them and it verifies that they not only look good but are well made and taste delicious. They had pasteis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts), and they were very good (still not as good as the ones you eat in Portugal). They have a wide selection of butter tarts and they are well made and tasty. Their giant merengues are what a merengue should be: crunchy on the outside with a chewy center. They have a nice selection of quiches: individual size and regular size. They also sell their quiches frozen. We tasted a couple of their quiches and they were outstanding. Their caramel squares are something we have never had before and they were out of this world.
