Video Game Repairs

I love my PS3. I enjoy playing on my PS3. While everyone else has moved onto their PS4s and PS5s, I've stuck with my PS3. If it ain't broke, why replace it, right? Of course, that doesn't mean it stops getting older with each passing year, so keeping it in the best shape possible is essential. Well, one day, I contacted the folks at Just for Fun Games, and at some point, they recommended I check out Video Game Repairs. It may not seem like the most creative name, but believe me, these guys are the real deal.I took my PS3 there for a checkup, just to make sure everything was okay - oh, about three weeks ago - and Tracy warmly welcomed me to the store, and walked me through each step of the process. She was very attentive, and eager to help with whatever I had on my mind. If you're like me, worried about how they'll handle your consoles, rest assured, they don't just toss 'em around - Tracy handled my PS3 quite nicely.Well, I went in yesterday to pick up my PS3 after being called a few days prior by Morgan (whom I spoke with over the phone before taking my PS3 in - like Tracy, he was very polite and helpful). Again, Tracy walked me through everything, answering all my questions and just being awesome. I remember when I first mentioned this place, someone close to me rather cynically said that they might've tried to nickel and dime me, making up all sorts of issues" to make me spend more money

I found VGR online and decided to reach out via email with a few questions first. Tracy answered back with everything I needed! She was friendly, prompt and up front with everything from fees to turnaround time. The team was just as friendly in person and had my Switch fixed up good as new! Tracy even asked if I wanted different colored joysticks, which was an extra delight to an already great experience. If you need something fixed, I will HIGHLY recommend Video Game Repair as the place to go! :)

Unfortunately my 2DS couldn’t be fully repaired, but Traci managed to get it to turn on again. Absolutely pleasant person to deal with and I thank her for saving some semblance of functionality in my 2DS

Brought my nintendo switch in for repairs. The initial repair did not fix the problem as it returned over night, but they were very quick to get it repaired again within a day at the front of their busy queue under warrenty. Unfortunately the switch seems to be beyond help, and they were very quick to refund as our problem was not fixed. Pleasant experience despite the outcome! Cheers. :)

Brought in a White Slim PS2 which had problems reading game discs. Half the time it would read half the game discs. And the other times none. Also made a weird clicking noise when trying to read the game discs. They fixed my PS2 good as new. They billed exactly as advertised. The guy working there told me it was a 3 weeks wait for them to fix it and 3 weeks on the dot it was fixed.Great Service!! Told a friend about them and he's already got three broken consoles lined up for them.GREAT JOB AND THANKS AGAIN!!

Excellent retro repair business! I sent in my late Nana’s original Gameboy to be repaired, as it no longer turned on with batteries as well as had a damaged screen. I emailed them about it, and shortly after I received a kind reply saying to send it in! Once they got it, they told me what exactly what needed to be done / what I wanted done, and how much it would cost. Fairly priced and trustworthy team. I just got it back in the mail today and it’s in new condition! All cleaned inside and out, fixed up, and ready to last for another 30 years!

I’ve dealt with Video Game Repairs twice. Both times the process were efficient and the repair top quality.They are very busy so don’t be scared by a wait. They do excellent work. In my experience, a shop that has a wait list is very busy because they do great work. This is the case for Video Game Repairs.Keep up the great work.

Absolutely phenomenal. I was having some technical issues with my Xbox 360 - was greeted warmly by the lovely lady at the front office, and the master chief was extremely competent, friendly and interested in helping. He patiently spent a lot of time helping me work out the issues and he sold me some great stuff at great prices. This is the best experience I’ve ever had at ANY electronics repair shop. I would rate at 5 stars, but for Mail-In orders they are very slow to ship out completed product, which is why I've given them 3 stars. They demand payment before shipping and then when provided it takes them 3 days to ship it out. Why the delay? I have to pay for shipping and still they take their time shipping out already paid for product. Since I had to paid for everything, that is shipping both ways and for the repair, I should get A+ service.
