Motel

I love this golf course! 18-holes of well kept greens and the challenge keeps on coming with long par 5 on hole 6, a deceptive par 3 on hole 7 with hazards behind the green and landscape sure to please walkers. The 9-hole is also fun but comes with its own challenges. Looks straight forward but be aware of rolling hills and tree lines. Beautiful cottages set off the course and if you want to seek accommodations they have cottages to rent or a transient campsite to bring your own trailers into the park. The course is manicured regularly and the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend every level of golfer to play and walk/ride the course!

The rooms are very clean with small sitting areas and electric fireplaces. They are pretty funky and quirky (in a fun way!) in terms of decoration, lots of colours and a great atmosphere! However the room I was in (may not be true for all rooms) had a tub that was so steeply slanted and crooked I was off balance the whole time I showeres and almost fell several times. Just something to be aware of. Otherwise it was a wonderful place with kind staff and free continental breakfast.

Located right on the highway 11, this family owned motel was just what we needed. Out in Northern Ontario, a gem like this can be difficult to find... friendly, helpful staff, comfortable atmosphere, a perfect place to relax for the night while traveling. The rooms are small and show some wear but are very clean and equipped with everything we could have needed (toaster, microwave, mini fridge & freezer, coffee maker). The beds were comfortable and clean. Thank you, Nipigon Travelers Motel for your great service.

Another great meal as always. I got the Mix Plate 2 with chevapi and Vienna schnitzel. It was great but I wish I also got side gravy. The place isn't fancy but is great for a comfortable family meal. Get a reservation as it's usually packed and there aren't many seats.

The big chains certainly are much more modern, but there's nothing quite like the experience of coming here after not having been for a few years and being met with a big hi how are you and empathic and caring connection. Ten out of ten for making me feel welcome. The rooms are much what one would expect from any smaller hotel, dated, clean and nice. The personal touch means so much!

BEST Motel I have stayed at... gorgeous room with hand made log furniture, huge king sized, comfortable bed, friendliest staff, greeted me happily at 1 am!! Cleanest room - seriously spotless. Great set up, large layout. Very affordable rate as well. Thank you Yellow Headhead Motel!!!

Best breakfast of my life!!! The lobster benedict is literally life changing... I'll never eat anything that is as perfect again, no joke.Breanna was super quick on the coffee refills while being friendly and efficient. The entire experience from seating to leaving was super fast, all around a great place for a great meal.

Very nice and clean rooms, the blankets and towels smelled amazing. The owners are very nice and welcoming. When we arrived the lady was cooking and I said how good it smelled and she gave us a container , and it was delicious! Motel is located central Manitoulin so, it's easy to travel. Grocery store near by and amenities. We will definitely be returning!

We called half an hour before the arrival to do booking and the gentleman at the front desk told us that we can stay here for the day gave us the price only for the day from 9-5 and asked us to visit their location in order to confirm the booking. We drove all night and needed somewhere to rest and get some sleep to continue the driving at night. When we went there his supervisor was so arrogant and told us right away that there are no rooms available. We told her that we called only half an hour ago and we were asked to come here to confirm the booking for the day and accused us of lying that if you called only half an hour ago, i am sure you are not coming from that far. Secondly, the gentleman was busy on the call with another client and she told that she will talk to him that why he has told us to come here if they don’t do day rates on Fridays. While we were waiting there for the guy to finish his call, she told us that you can’t stay here because you are listening to the conversation of the guy with the another client but the truth is that we are standing there and waiting for them to finish their business and then try and fix our issue.But it was ridiculous. I hope this lady learns a lesson one day for treating people this way. Zero stars for all this!!
