5 Star Camps

My kids have been going here for a few years. This camp is absolutely amazing. Both my kids love it. The owners and counsellors make the days so much fun and go out of their way to make the kids day special! Can’t wait to send them again next year to make more wonderful memories. They are definitely a “5 star” camp!

Such a great outing with the school today. Papa Bear is amazing and all his little (not so little) cubs (staff). Thank you for a great day.

Last summer my daughter and her friend had an amazing time. This year both my son and daughter loved it so much they’re already asking for an extra week next year!

An incredibly positive environment for children with or without mental and/or physical disabilities. A program that offers a plethora of new experiences for children and creates a strong sense of community with all campers.From the dancing, to archery, to the climbing wall, to multi sport, from inflatables and the pool, your children are bound to have experiences at 5 Star Camps that will last a lifetime.With all of the activities that are offered in this diverse program, the staff are all cut from the same cloth. They all enjoy making a positive impact in children' lives, knowing that first time, and returning campers can experience symptoms of anxiety. Counselors get to know the children on a personal level to insure that the child experiences affection in a supportive and caring environment.The greatest aspect of 5 Star Camps is the incredibly supportive, generous, accommodating, understanding Directors. They have created a 6 week camping program that promotes healthy living, both physically and mentally.5 Star Camps is indeed a 5 star experience!

Would give this camp 6 stars if I could. Camp counsellors are excellent - funny and engaging - they have a way of making every child feel special. Management is a well oiled machine and communicates effectively with parents. Pick-up and drop-off are a breeze. Price is fair when you factor snacks and lunch is provided ( a gift for parents). One downside is that the camp has become so popular it is cut throat to register in the spring, with some weeks selling out in minutes, so there is a need to be proactive and register as soon as it opens.My daughter has attended for a few years and consistently rates this camp as best in class. My son has waited 2 years to be old enough to attend as a Little Dipper and this morning he woke up at 5am ready for his first day. If that is not an endorsement I don’t know what is!

My daughter was in the youngest group there this year. She is very very shy, but we had zero issues at drop off and she was so so excited to go every day. The communication with staff was excellent and as a parent I was kept well informed. We had a fantastic experience and will be back next year!

Our kids love this camp! And so do we...they get tons of exercise and fresh air and they come home exhausted. And it includes food! The counselors are super with the kids. Our son will miss the staff for sure. See you again next year!

We have had our two children attend for a number of years, this summer for two weeks. If you're not trying this camp, you are simply missing out on what we consider the best kids summer camp in Ottawa!Engaged staff, great theme days, excellent food and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. The kids are excited to get there every day. We'll be back next year and if you are looking for a camp for your children, we would highly recommend you give it a try!

Our kids are there right now, for the very first time in their life in a camp, in Canada, and they are loving it. They come back so happy, telling their stories of the day filled with so many fun outdoor activities. They praise councillors, they praise food, they praise activities. Thank you! It was just 2 days, but already so much happiness. Grateful.

Kids (7&8) spent two weeks here. They had a fantastic time doing things they may never have had a chance to do at other traditional camps. Drop-off and pickup is extremely smooth. Even with a few days of rain, the kids came home covered in mud, sweaty, exhausted, smiling and looking forward to the next day.
