I came to this branch on Feb 7th.I showed my mortgage approval to one of the front desk and they said we do not have any information from you! then I asked to talk to one of the advisor and branch manager said why do you want to talk !? this question was the first stupid question in banks in Canada i have ever heard in my life! so imagine all of them were playing with their computer and even their manager talked to me very rude! Instead of helping people for business they try to push you out!

Contrary to reviews here, I found the staff very courteous and helpful. Being new comer to Canada, Bank representative Jason Wu made sure I was made aware of process and guided me on useful things to do as a new comer which was not part of his work. The account opening was quite smooth and fast. It helped that I went on a weekday morning.

I wish I could give 0 stars. One is too highl for this branch.Today many people had issues with this branch and the manager was loosing her temper and couldn’t handle the unsatisfied customers. I think Scotia Bank should reconsider the procedure of appointing its managers.

We must trust the other customers’ reviews always. Unfortunately I did not notice the very low numbers of stars(2.6 stars) given for this branch and I had to experience a lower than 1 star service even.We all have accounts in different banks and can feel the difference. I think I better forget working with Scotia Bank only for one reason: the staff( I don’t want to put her name here) and the assistance manager of the branch are very very rude and unprofessional.

Terrible location. I would advise anyone looking to book an appointment with a mortgage specialist to not go to this branch. Their mortgage specialists have no respect for appointments nor will it be the same person you booked with. Secondly I was unfortunate enough to get Rahimeh as the mortgage person. I wouldn’t call her specialist in anyway because she didn’t know the difference between a hard credit hit or a soft hit but acted like she did. She also had poor English speaking skills because I had no idea what she was saying. I will definitely not be going here again.

Have not been visiting branch for long time.. mostly doing transaction online. visited today and found that this branch's service is so Terrible. Staffs are not helpful. And the management is so impolite. I do not think that they are treating you as customer. Thinking about not using Scotiabank any more. Seriously!

The worst branch of ANY bank I have ever dealt with.Update review -- Customers beware.First: the staff is courteous and wonderful.Unfortunately, the branch seems dysfunctional at an organizational level due to the leadership of both Denise Yeomans, the current branch manager, and Palma Verratti, the current assistant manager.The current low review rating of the branch reflects this I believe. Said leadership would prefer to try to strong-arm and manipulate customers, or in this case previous customers, than to admit they were wrong when they are, it seems.I will be following up with the Scotiabank complaint department as well as the FCAC as I believe I have been intentionally misled.

The service of cashier is really bad . I left from Scotia bank n headed to TD , the straight feeling showed me the service were soooo different. After Td , my mood got better n better with good service.

I want to acknowledge a Senior Customer Representative with whom I dealt at this branch - Maria Foti. I didn't have to deal with branch manager or assistant branch manager, like some other reviewers, so I can't comment on this. But dealing with Maria left me with a wonderful sense that customer service still exists in its true meaning. I first came to the branch about a week ago to order cheques. I was lucky I got to Maria. Everything was done promptly. Then I asked her if there was any availability to rent a safety deposit box, as this was one of the perks I received with my new Ultimate package account. She told me that at the moment there were no available boxes but one may become available soon. She took my information and promised to call me once the box will become available. I stopped by the branch today, and Maria had one of the boxes available for me. She showed me the box, explained how the access works and gave me all the relevant information. It truly felt like I was receiving a VIP treatment. In theory, this is how the true customer service should be done. In reality, it is very rare, and therefore I'm glad I had this interaction with Maria. Thank you, Maria, for your service!

I should have read and trust the comments here. Haven't visit Scotiabank for a long time and I thought it was only this branch that has bad customer service but it isn't. Why treat great customers rudely! Enjoy your day.
