Trying this new place couple days ago, was fantastic! We had some cool cocktails and only $6, my gf ordered a peach oolong with cheese foam , looks amazing. We had some yakitori and chicken heart skewers, feels like we back to Asia , they have some Japanese appetizers like akimo, wow, I wish we could eat more, definitely going back for sure !

What a cute, friendly place ! the lunch special was great . Sushi was so fresh and flavourful. Soup was very delicious . Spicy salmon roll with miso soup . 10 bucks better than a sandwich for sure !

Chicken sticks, chicken is over cooked and chewy, suspect it is microwaved and put on sauce.Beef tataki, for $20 the size is way too small and feels rip off.Beer over priced for a pine it cost $9 per glass.Sashimi came 30 mins late then other of our order, was asking we want to cancel the order and ask for bill, waiter came back say it’s already made. They obviously making other walk in , 3rd party orders first. Not to mention the sashimi not fresh.Not going to return here. Owner just change their reno and name to try to have a clean slate ( previous review was very bad)but if they keep doing this nothing is going to improve.

Newly opened for lunch ! I had to try this! Quite hype space, usually caters late nighters and party goers. You can definitely feel the vibe, tv screens with latest asians music videos, fancy neon lights and plenty of snacks and drinks. That being said, I went for lunch ! It was calm, staff was very kind and welcoming. I didn’t go for the lunch special, I got myself a chicken karaage. It was a bit dry to my taste but nevertheless I was conquered by the place, as I eyeballed some lunch specials the table next to me ordered and I am attracted to their snacks and drinks. Will definitely be back for the vibe and more !

Totally cool little place to meet up with my friends to enjoy a few drinks and a variety of Asian tapas (snack foods) or bubble tea. Perfect to chill after watching a show across the street at the Royal Theater! A bonus is they open till late midnight when there is not much options downtown for anything Asian!

Been walking by this place many times in passing so decided to check it out I absolutely love the ambiance & decor of the place. They play a lot of 70s music like Bee Gees, Village People, ABBA, and super retro Michael Jackson. The interior makes me feel like 80s HK hangout like the Cantonese movies I've watched as a kid; nice nostalgic feel.The beef tongue skewers really good but the pricing was steep (same price of Wagyu beef skewers in Vancouver). The chef sashimi was good and the presentation was nice but the pieces were too thickly sliced, and once again the pricing was steep.Service was there but was very delayed. I don't think I was asked how the food was. Overall, I felt the place has some potential but not there right now. Appy hour was verbal only and the discount are on alcoholic beverages only; not so cool especially when I don't want to drink and drive. Oh well, it's an experience at least.

Very mediocre overall. Decor and ambiance is funky and fun, would be great if you're in party mode. Be aware the sneating is kinda awkward. The food is quite poor quality and overpriced, so maybe just come for drinks. They microwaved the rice for the dishes and sushi, our meat was tough and seemed like it had been not freshly cooked. Table service is minimal. The bathroom is kept locked and you have to ask the server to open. Anyway, cute little place, maybe eat at home if you want to check it out first.

I'm so happy to see this place open again post pandemic. We first discovered it for it's excellent special rolls and oshi - electric ave and lobster - via takeout and they are killer. It changed it's name (formerly Omakase) but it still boasts the same menu and more and the atmosphere is great late night fare for what is usually a sleepy area of town post 10pm.
