Castella Cheesecake Richmond Centre

I had only the little cheese tarts that were sold in a minimum set of three. They were creamy and buttery like those I had in Japan.

conveniently located in Richmond centre, good service, but the basque cheesecake is overcooked and is a little crumbly.

Very nice food, setup, and employee. Was concerned that she was by herself running the whole place but it wasn't super busy and small in sitting area wise.

I love their cheese tart and tiramisu, but this one star is just for their new creamy croissant. Firstly, it costs more than 5 CAD and its very small like half size of iPhone 12 pro M. I got food poisoning 2 days ago after I ate it after 2 hours. My stomach was very painful, for a moment I thought I will not make it that night, but luckily I throw up and everything went fine. I am pretty sure it was the croissant because at that night I only ate this and a bit fries from my kids. My kids were all good, so it cannot be the fries. Anyways, maybe the croissant is not for everybody.

Cheese tart is yum. I also like the strawberry yogurt drink. I would love to try their cheesecake but they don’t offer them in slices. I don’t want to order an entire cake lol.

Very delicious cheese tarts! Usually a short line up and quick service. They pack the desserts into these very cute yellow boxes. However, they don't accept cash, so make sure to have a debit or credit card. Must try!!

Great cheese tarts that are always hot out of the oven. They reheat very well.

Not very good. If you had a Hokkaido cheese tart before, Castella cheese tart not gonna get any score. But in general the crust was flaky, cheesy filling wasn’t so creamy and a bit runny and sour.

They have a unique cheesecake, a tart crust with a creamy center. They serve it warm and fresh (a sign says they make them every hour?), limited seating in the store but wasn't a problem when I visited. New favorite cheesecake!
