Good service, reasonable rate. After few bad experience from other tax services finally found a better one

It did take longer then normal but the staff is amazing

The last 2 years I've done my taxes with Liberty were awesome. This year seems worse. No communication on when the taxes were done. Waitied 1 month, when told 1 week it would be done. Finally got through, after phoning and leaving messages. Told to come in to pick up taxes. Then, didn't receive cash in hand, got to wait another 2 weeks for direct deposit. I'll blame it on covid-19.this time.

Not impressed with Liberty Tax.Dropped off my papers/documents on March 5th 2018 and was told I was missing some information and to email it to them. Email was sent the same day. After 9 business days (March 16th), I called to get the status of my return and was told they were waiting for the additional information. I told them I emailed everything the same day. They confirmed that it was received and opened but hasn't been completed. Was told they were going to work on it right away. I received a call 20 minutes later and was asked for more information which was already in the email I sent in the beginning. March 19th 2018, I received a call that my return was ready. ..Over 2 weeks for the return.Tried to use the $20 dollar off coupon from their website and was told they don't except those. Confused why they would be on their website if they don't honour them. $140 for two returns that took 15 days to file. Hopefully there isn't any delays in the Netfile portion.Would not recommend this place at all!!!

Just wanted to comment on the professionalism, courtesy, and expediency Patricia showed me when I needed my return completed. I've used other major tax specialist and even private tax consultants in the past to file a return but this is by far the best result I have ever experienced when filing for an income tax return.Thank you so much for the professional assistance. I am not from around here but I do visit Thunder Bay every summer as a Lakehead Lecturer.I will most likely visit your office again next summer. Kudos to you Liberty and your staff.Satisfied CustomerS. Roy
