How hopeless does a company have to be to take note of how they treat customers?Having booked online and paid my money, pre checked in online and everything was perfect, or so I thought. Apparently, if you are an Irish customer paying with a Debit card, you need to have a pay slip less that 90 days old. That's fine and well unless you are a carer for your disabled and terminally ill wife, in which case, you can't have a car. Thank you Enterprise for showing me that Social Discrimination is a thing! How do I know about the payslip issue during booking? You have to click on a link. It is not in plain sight, you, as a customer, have to go and find this info. It is shown on the confirmation email as well, however, you have to scroll all the way down, into the small print to find it. I am no expert on these matters but, if the website recognises certain critera, such as Irish driver, Debit Card, have a message flash up telling me you need a payslip instead of taking my money for a service you are not going to provide me. To make matters worse, they take the money within seconds, refund, 7-10 days!If you want an all together higher level of service and attention, where you the customer are treated with a much higher level of regard and courtesy, try Europcar on the Ennis Road. Talk to Jack or David. You will not regret it. I didn't, when Enterprise left me with no way of picking my terminally ill wife up from the hospital to take her home after our own car had broken down a couple of nights earlier. Europcar had me on the road within minutes, Enterprise just left me stranded! I should say at this point, I am a repeat customer of Enterprise with no past issue! If they can do this to me, imagine what they can do for you!
