Beaver Dam Flats
Take a walk or bike the path. I take my dogs there all the time. I keep an eye on the river which lately has been eye opening due to the level.

Great place for an evening walk in the nature. You can always hear birds chirping and the river flowing. Spend some time in the river bank and enjoy the sunset.

A nice little nature getaway in the city. Nice walking paths! The area where we parked and started from included a decently steep hill to get down to the river. We enjoyed the scenary, the melodies of the birds, and even saw a doe up close!

Nice park with acces to bow river and trails along it. Different paths from paved to gravel one. Cliff above has amazing views of DT Calgary.

Looking for a great place to walk, jog or walk Fido, in the heart of Calgary? Along the river, you discover nice trails and the backscenes easy to miss while listening to all the birds chats and the occasionnal wildlife sights including Bald Eagles and Pelicans. A real gem I tell you!!

Beautiful walk to the river!! We spotted 4 beavers swimming around until 2 coyotes showed up. It was a neat experience seeing the beavers go into defense mode.
