Rented last weekend with them. We searched for an Orcas Island rental car and these guys exceeded all our expectations! The online booking was a breather - the reservation engine is better than Hertz or Delta. The pickup was simple, and the car was brand new, sparkling clean, and fully loaded with tech features, leather and all. I strongly recommend OrcasCars to everyone visiting the islands and look forward to driving their vehicles again soon. Thank you for giving island visitors such a great option and excellent service!

They made our car rental experience exceptional! We were originally suppose to pick up our rental car at Westsound but several days before our arrival, the airline changed our arrival location. When I notified Orcas Island Car Rental, they changed the delivery location with ease. On the day of our departure, the airline again changed the location of our departure to the Airport. When I notified Orcas Car Rental that we would be dropping off the car at a different location, again “no problem”. Clearly they are all about customer service!!!

I managed to total my fiance’s car 20 hours before our wedding ceremony in the Moran State Park. OrcasCars.com took such great care of me! With all the stress of the wedding, the accident, and insurance, it took me less than a minute to book a car with them online. I told them I really wanted to arrive at the ceremony in a white nice-looking car. Within two hours (the night before the wedding, hours after the accident) I was behind a wheel of a BRAND NEW white vehicle!! I can’t recommend this wonderful little company enough. No way a big national chain would’ve gone out of their way to put themselves in my shoes and accommodate such a silly last-minute request. The entire rental experience was seamless and the car again was brand new. If I hadn’t been on the island I would’ve thought they’re affiliated with the Four Seasons or some private concierge service. Huge thank you, Orcas Island Car Rental!!

I had a terrible experience with this company. I had to cancel my reservation on short notice because a family member got COVID and we had to change our travel plans at the last minute. OrcasCars charged me in full (nearly $600) for a reservation I did not and could not use. When I followed up by email to ask for a refund, I was informed that, under the terms of our agreement, I was not entitled to a refund because of the timing of my cancellation. When I emphasized the reason for my late cancellation and asked whether they might reconsider, no one replied.They are within their rights to keep my money, I suppose. The contract is what it is. But this is a harsh way to do business, and I suspect it extends to other features of how this company goes about its work. I would never rent from them in the future, and I would discourage any consumer from doing so.The claim the owners make below -- that most others in the travel industry would not have refunded my money -- is inconsistent with my experience. I can report that, when I had to cancel other features of my trip, on similarly short notice, no one else kept my money.The point about taking out insurance is fair enough, I suppose. And perhaps I will do so in the future as a hedge against running into another company that is as sharp-dealing as this one. But the fact is, this company kept $600 of mine for a rental I did not and could not use. And I very much doubt they turned away other customers during the period they had my reservation on hold. (What are the chances my rental was the very last car in stock?) So they kept my money for a single reason: because they could. I think this orientation toward consumers is piggish, greedy, and unkind.Work with these people at your own risk.

Terrific service and excellent car. All of the “tech”stuff worked perfectly - from reserving the car, uploading license and insurance photos, unlocking the car, and dropping off again. Car was super clean and loved the bottle water touch. Will definitely rent from Orcas Island Car Rental again!

A couple girlfriends and I traveled to the island for a quick getaway and I've got to say, if you're looking for an Orcas Island rental car, this is the place! Their customer service team is incredible. I was blown away. The gentleman even gave me some tips about what to see and how to navigate the ferry. The car was shiny and super clean, there was hand sanitizer provided, and us girls felt so cool in that sporty, bright red car!

The staff at Orcas Island car rentals is awesome! We just show up in our boat, a nice, clean car is waiting right at the marina. We tootle around the island and just leave it where we found it, it's that easy! We highly recommend going to Orcascars.com!

Probably the best car rental experience I've ever had! Once you reserve, your car is waiting for you when you arrive, and all you do is use the code to unlock the car. It was amazing- so quick and easy. Same with drop off. Car was immaculate - its what you hope for when you rent a car! Great service!

We were flying into Orcas Island and needed a car to explore the island. Accordingly, we made a reservation using OrcasCars.com and the process was perfect! The vehicle we were assigned was new, spotless, fueled and even had four water bottles and hand sanitizer! OUTSTANDING and PROFESSIONAL service!
