Had a good experience selling my clothes. Staff were nice and friendly. I prefer Oakville they paid me a bit more for my clothes.

This location is fairly decent in comparison to others unlike those a seamless process with mobile check in. Given 20 minutes to go through your items so you have time to browse store for clothing to get a credit or get your cash which I did offered $45 for the bin I brought so would say it was a rather successful experience.

Everything I expected and more. Items were organized, and checkout went smoothly. Abby was extremely helpful in finding everything I needed, easily one of the kindest/most helpful retail store managers I've ever talked to. As good of an experience as I could ask for.

Oh boy, where do I even begin with Abby, the magnificent manager at Plato's Closet? She's like a fashion guru sprinkled with a generous helping of mischief. If you're looking for an unforgettable shopping experience, look no further because Abby has got you covered, quite literally! From the moment you step into Plato's Closet, Abby's infectious energy grabs hold of you like a glittery boa constrictor. She's the kind of manager who can transform a simple clothing store into a runway of laughter and style. You won't find any ordinary retail experience here. No, sir. Abby has elevated it to a whole new level of entertainment.First off, let's talk about her fashion advice. It's like stepping into a world where clashing patterns, mismatched socks, and neon colors become high fashion trends overnight. Who needs boring, safe choices when you can walk out of Plato's Closet looking like a fabulous fashion experiment gone right? Abby will convince you that a Hawaiian shirt, furry boots, and a tiara make the perfect ensemble for a stroll in the park. Now, let's not forget about the staff meetings. They're like a circus performance on steroids. Abby turns routine discussions into improv comedy sessions. I'm pretty sure she majored in stand-up comedy before deciding to conquer the fashion world. You'll find yourself laughing so hard that you forget you're actually supposed to be working. Abby's wit and humor are contagious, and it's no wonder her team is always smiling. And speaking of her team, Abby has assembled a group of individuals who are just as quirky and fun-loving as she is. It's like a family of fashion rebels who are hell-bent on breaking all the fashion rules while having a blast. You can witness impromptu fashion shows happening in the aisles, complete with enthusiastic catwalk struts and dramatic poses. Who needs New York Fashion Week when you have Plato's Closet?Abby's customer service skills are truly something to behold. She can turn a frown upside down faster than you can say wardrobe malfunction." If you're having a bad day

I was in the Burlington store today and was checked out by Abby (my spelling may be off with her name). She was unbelievably rude and made me feel undervalued as a customer simply because I guess I don’t fit the look of the people who shop there. She was disrespectful to other staff that were working there barking at them to help her. I’ve been to this Plato’s before and I really enjoy the young feeling of the store. Not today. Abby made me feel that I don’t belong there and as for how she treats her co workers who are obviously just high school kids she was unpleasant and rude to them aswell - it was really hard to watch. You could tell the other girls were embarrassed/upset by the way she was treating them and talking to them. Abby shouldn’t be dealing with customers who pay good money just like the young kids. I doubt I will be back which is too bad because I really liked that store :(

DO NOT COME HERE . Go to hamilton If you want a realistic offer for your stuff . the staff here thinks they can take multiple bins of name brand stuff for under $100… Hamilton will actually give you your money worth for your stuff. The staff is rude , quiet and very chatty with other staff. Hamilton you’re in an out , I was told by the staff to come here that they need more items then hamilton but waited about 40 minutes once arriving and there was no one ahead of me. Watched multiple people leave laughing at the items they have. They took a bin of all my name brand stuff for $100.. but in hamilton they took maybe 6 items for $127. this place needs to get a grip. All the clothes in the store are from walmart or blue notes . GO TO HAMILTON!!!

I went in looking for some floral shirts because it's hot boy summer, and I went out with full on outfits. The staff are super helpful, especially as a dude with zero fashion sense. Specifically, Abby helped pick me out some fits that work with my build, and especially helped me figure out what worked and what didn't.I'll be back in the fall to get some more seasonal outfits! Can't wait to wear the fits for some hot boy summer!

Used to love shopping at this location. The customer experience was typically what brought me in. During my last few visits I’ve been less than impressed. Just to give you an idea, I watched 2 girls go through my buy and stop to talk at several points for several minutes at a time, along with making comments about my stuff. It just seemed completely unnecessary and made the experience very uncomfortable. I will most likely avoid this location in the future

I've been to this location a few times and find it a fun place to shop. The staff are friendly and helpful and Abby in particular is always cheerful and encouraging to everyone. She knows what she's doing. Although I don't always find something I like ( I am somewhat out of the typical age range for this store) I have several younger family members who love this store for the great finds.
