This was my beef tataki salad which costed $15…it’s no bigger than a baby’s palm. And they either forgot to give me sauce or it doesn’t come with any. It was tasteless. A photo of someone else’s beef tataki salad from Isami for comparison and mine with a soy sauce packet for size comparison…

Food is tasty, but the service is very slow, we finished 3 rolls, bentos and tempura and one order of chicken katsu still not ready.

My friend brought me here as she worked nearby, and the sushi is tasty. We also like the miso soup and the rice is well done. The price is a little bit higher compared to the sushi nearby, but considering the service, taste, and vibes, it is worth it.

The food is decent albeit on the smaller side in terms of portioning. Despite having three rolls which would usually fill me up, I still felt relatively hungry after dining. Service can be shifty at times when they're busy.

I loved their rolls. they have delivery as well. Nabeyaki Udon is a great choice. good service in place. good and accessible location. I was not really happy with the fact that I had to ask for a tea refill every time. I don't want to judge maybe they were busy at that time. but overall a very good place with great rolls. Try their sashimi as well it very fresh!!

Authentic Japanese food. Staffs were actually Japanese and I could see some original menu compared to generic sushi places you can find in Vancouver. They also had izakaya dishes and seasonal menu that are posted on the wall. Loved the taste, originality, and professional staffs who brought a hand sanitizer to my table before paying the bill.

Very old school and a whole in the wall, but lovely in that it is away from the mall. The restaurant is a bit run down. But the food felt authentic. Japanese owned I think. Great price for the portions. We spent $60 something for 3 people, including 2 beers!

It is Ok. I don’t understand why so many people say they waited forever for their order. We got our orders pretty quickly. I wish they have black rice option.All of their maki sushi we ordered (salmon, chicken, avocado) came in 6 pieces instead of the traditional 8 pieces which was kinda sad. The spicy salmon roll was not spicy at all. Too much mayonnaise. I like that their chicken teriyaki roll had veggies in it. Good for the kids. Though, why does the avocado roll contain mayonnaise (says in the menu)? Why would an avocado roll have mayonnaise?
