Lady Icy Braiding & Hair Extension & Beauty Salon

I went in to see lady Icy today to do an install for my upcoming wedding. I beyond happy with her work. She made me feel so comfortable throughout the process and made sure to ask me if I was comfortable and let me know what she was doing during the install. I cannot wait for suture services with lady Icy!! Will recommend to all my friends and family.

Words can NOT describe how beyond happy iam with the service that Lady Icy provided me with today. I called at 4pm and had asked if she had time today to install extensions for me, she told me to come in at 5 so she could have time to have a bite to eat after her client. I showed up early at 4:40 and I expected to wait, she was just finishing up a client and once she finished she started my hair straight away At 4:45 without taking a break! Lady Icy did an OUTSTANDING job on my hair!! She was so kind and caring !!! Every 10-15 minutes she was offering me water, checking in on my pain tolerance, checking to make sure I was doing alright!! she is GREAT!! She is so sweet & funny and she knows how to make people feel right at home!!! My hair looks absolutely amazing and I have recommended her to all of my friends. I will forever come to Lady Icy for all my hair needs.

Lady icy is very accommodating warm person, I got long bohemian box braids and it was beyond my expectations, she is a true artist and very passionate about her work, also the shop is very clean. Totally recomend!

Lady Icy is the best in town for all your braiding needs, she did an amazing job on my braids and I’m getting compliments everywhere I go thank you lady icy you will seeing me again.

Beat hair salon I've been to! The overall vibe there was immaculate. She did wonderful work and was so so sweet! I got extensions + dreadlocks and they look so good!!! I really appreciate all the time and effort she put into my hair. It was a great experience! <3

This woman believes it's acceptable for braids/locs to be excessively tight and insists on not being bothered with complaints for a whole week while they remain tight, claiming it's “normal.”She should not be braiding or update her ignorant outdated thinking. In all my years of getting my hair done, I have never encountered a hairstylist so uninformed and arrogant.It is NOT normal for braids to be excruciatingly tight, causing pain, welts and bringing one to the verge of tears even with the slightest touch of a finger.Angry and disappointed is an understatement.

Worst hair salon in calgary I went to get my dreads started but ended up getting ripped off for $200...I was on time for my appointment however the hair dresser was extremely late by 30 mins and very unprofessional ...Half way through my hair the hair dresser stopped my hair and went and started some other guys hair and then a replacement girl came and continued my hair while waiting for the main hair dresser to return...The ending result was my hair was not done right so as soon as I washed it it came out and was back to normal ...So nothing was really done to my hair properly...

The braids are pretty sure but not what it cost me financially or my mental health.. it took her less time and cost me more to put them in again then the first set which cost me $420 and she supplied the hair, and my first set didnt last 2 months. I then called and asked about bringing my own hair and you quoted 180-200 over the phone but then charged double $400 in store once they were installed. Even your sign inside your store suggest $1-2 per single braid.....I have 84 braids in my head... you do the math !!!You rip people off.. single moms off. You're completly okay with that!?!?!?! I will never be back. I feel highly disrespected and will spread the word everywhere I go.
