LVLUP GAMES
I joined my work buds for a day of board games at LVL up and it was SOOOO much fun! I thought we'd stay here maybe 2 hours tops but we ended up playing from like noon to 7pm. Food is freaking amazing too. I 10000% recommend and will be coming again!

I love LVLUP. My D&D group meets here regularly, and if we don't play D&D, we choose from the wide selection of board games. I have attended a learn to play" night to learn more about a card game

Maui hosted a day for my colleagues, and to say we had a great time would be a massive understatement. Maui and her team were so friendly and welcoming, and they had so many games that I didn't think anyone still owned! Thank you for the best afternoon :)

Update: Even better than before . Everything is clean,well organized,safe and inclusive. Baked goods are delicious. Games are well organized and even more extensive than before. Absolutely love this place!Discovered this board game location because of its proximity to an escape room (Captive).Definitely glad we chose to go there. It was clean,lots of variety in game choices,clean washrooms and a nice snackette.The owners are female and this is important to note as this type of recreational activity is often dominated by male owned and led businesses.It seems to be well run and attendance was high. There are membership rates and access to the games is very affordable.They are also very helpful and the atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The only improvement would be more food/drink options but it was much better than many other board game cafes .Will definitely return.

This is a great board game shop! The game selection is excellent and the prices are very competitive! My friends and I have bought many games from here such as For Sale, Sheriff of Nottingham, Concordia, etc and we were all very satisfied! Even has tables to play on! Considering that this isn't a huge warehouse type store they have a pretty big selection of games! Highly worth a visit if you're in the area!

This place is a gem! Tucked away in an unassuming location, they have a fantastic selection of games, sleeves, and D&D products to buy. They also have an extensive library of games to play in store, some of which you can also rent which is a huge plus. Staff/owners are very friendly.I love that you can borrow a game (or multiple) for a week, so that you know before buying if you like it or not. I haven't found many places outside of downtown Toronto that offer game rentals. Last time I asked, they said they were still working out the details, so you may want to call to confirm, but basically you pay a deposit and they will refund you (minus a rental fee) when you return the game. If you like the game and want to buy it, they will swap out your rental for a brand new copy!If you follow them on social media you will see that they are continuously adding to the game library and at this time have started a head-to-head voting system for new games to be added, which is great. The pictures I've included in this review are some of the games in the library for playing.This is my new favourite game store! :)

Friendly staff, helped me get exactly what I was looking for(pokemon booster boxes and a few other collectibles). Went above and beyond, even climbed on a step ladder to ensure he searched everywhere to ensure I was shown all the options they had available. Will definitely be returning.The vibe was pretty nice, everyone there was having a great time playing games.

I come here most weekends and it's a pretty solid experience each time. Sundays are the busiest, so if you're looking to avoid crowds, you can go on another day. The staff are very kind and patient and they know a lot about the games. The snacks and drinks are also good and modestly priced.

Quaint spot to play a wide variety of board games and activities. Food and beverages were reasonably priced and the ube cookies were amazing. Strong 8. Would recommend for a splendid time with friends :)
