CIBC Branch with ATM

The banking hours are horrible and the customer service is not good when calling their centers. Also the only seem to have one person working the counter who knows what to do...she is great but when you have to wait 30 minutes to get your banking done there's something wrong. Very dissatisfied and would not recommend this bank to anyone.

My experience on the phone was terrible, no connection to a real person at all. if I wanted to see about opening an account or transferring my account how would I do this without having to go to see you in person. my questions might have been nice if at least answered by phone first. terrible service on your phone lines.. :-(

This review has nothing to do with the branch itself just the whole company in general. It is probably the worst bank I have ever dealt with. I had called to get a credit card and apparently they have my name wrong on file so I can't get the credit card until my name is changed in the system, so I need to go in person to change my information. The worst part is that my vehicle loan from subaru was filed through cibc in 2021 and I have been paying it off for about a year under the WRONG name. For some reason the loan is not even listed under my legal name even though the contract I signed CLEARLY had the right name on it. And since they already have me in the system as another name I cannot get a credit card. After several calls, tens of hours on hold and talking to over 5 different people in their call center they told me I needed to go in person to prove what my name really is. I will go eventually to change my name but in no rush because after my loan is done I will not be dealing with them again. Very unprofessional.
