Zuma is the friendliest gym I've been to. I've been going for 8 months now, my first day there I didn't know what I was doing and someone came over immediately and helped me out. Everyone there makes you feel like family and it's such a positive environment. Classes, coaches and instructors are all amazing!

I can’t say enough good things about this karate studio. After years of not being able to stick to other workout routines and classes, I discovered Woodbine Karate Club. It’s very welcoming to all ages and abilities. I was nervous as an adult with no experience, but I felt like I instantly fit in, even with the very experienced students. The instructor, Yuri is wonderful! He takes the time to make sure everyone is getting the most out of the class and makes sure we all stay safe and have fun. It’s always exciting and never boring because no two classes are exactly the same. He’s always switching it up. The classes are so enjoyable that you don’t realize what an intense workout it is until you feel the results later. The spiritual side and the discipline is what makes karate stand out from other workouts and sports. Sensei Yuri has perfected the balance of this in every class. As a bonus, there is always lots of parking and there’s an awesome juice bar on the way out so you can grab a protein shake or bubble tea after class.

Not my main gym but I trained here for a few months. Compared to the gyms I trained at around north america, UK, and Thailand, this is one of my absolute favorites.Top gym for bjj in my opinion in Victoria. Strikes the right balance of professionalism and family atmosphere. The gym is clean, classes start on time, billing is issue free, and the instructors are knowledgeable and personable. You’ll find absolute beginners to competition colored belts. The vibe is laid back and everyone was just there to learn. Unlike many gyms the egos are actually left at the door. My good friend Steve invited me to train with him at Zuma while I was visiting from out of town. I was made to feel welcome and had a great time. I had some good rolls with everybody. Adam is a great instructor and I would definitely be a member of this gym if I lived in town. Highly recommend Zuma to anyone in the Victoria area.

Not sure if they’re still in business. If they are, they need to make some changes. I can’t find class times on line, I’ve called many times and left a message (once) no call back. I entered information in the “contact us” section of the website (twice) no response, AND I emailed the email address on the website, again, no response.If they are still in business they missed out on three potential memberships as my kids and I are new to the area and looking for a new MMA school to continue our training.

The best martial arts gym I’ve ever been to. Lots of classes, world class coaches and athletes, open to everyone.

The Golden tiger is a major blessing to this town.

FYI, Zuma is the happiest place on earth, not Disneyland
